ParticipantHi Ben,
This is probably my fault so shout at me if I’ve done something wrong!
The changes I have previously made to the product-edit.php templates aren’t appearing since changing over to the shiny new (wonderful) One Social theme.
I’ve copied over my amended templates from my old theme into One Social CHILD theme.
However they don’t seem to be working as all my changes within my product-edit.php aren’t appearing in the Vendor product listing form.
I copied product-edit.php from my old theme and added it to the one social child theme here:
/public_html/wp-content/themes/onesocial-child/wc-vendors/dashboard/product-edit.phpI also tried (just in case) adding it to the parent One Social theme here:
/public_html/wp-content/themes/onesocial/wc-vendors/dashboard/product-edit.phpBut still no joy 🙁
What have I done wrong?
Many thanks,
Karen

ParticipantAlso,
Tags have disappeared from my product edit screens along with my custom field for ‘handmade in xx days’
1. Tags are unticked in the Product Form (in Woo Commerce settings)
2. I have my added the hook for ‘handmade in xx days’ in function.phpAlso, I’m no longer able to user my User Switcher to switch back to Admin user – how have you got round this using this problem when using this theme on your own site?
Ta,
Karen

ParticipantGood question! I don’t know is the answer. Social Marketplace uses a plugin to handle theme overrides, you’ll want to ask them how to handle what you need now. I’m interested in knowing the answer too, but am unable to until returning home Thursday. Funeral for father in law today, and a stomach virus making me vomit everywhere. Oh, what a day. If you cant get it fixed before I return, we’ll work on it together then.

ParticipantHi Karen,
Thanks for the question.
Reposting the answer here, for anyone else with the same issue.I would like to keep all the support for our products in our own support forum.
I’ll push our support team to speed up the answer for this.
I Apologize for the slowness of our support team, we’re working on speeding things up. We just added a new support person to our team today and we’re working hard to make the support more efficient. Thanks for your patience.

ParticipantHi.
Same issue here.
What is the solution please ?Thank you.
August 29, 2016 at 11:22 am #41281WC Vendors Support
Participant@marc.bovet — Social Marketplace uses the Marketplace plugin, which overrides the WC Vendors template directory to be /themes/onesocial-child-or-whatever/bb-marketplace/wc-vendors/dir/file.php

ParticipantHi,
Same problem, I would add banking information in the dashboard in setting (payment tab) but this does not show, there was an update to the theme and marketplace not long ago, the problem Is still unresolved. Do you have a temporary solution ?

ParticipantI have just checked with our support team and it doesn’t look like we have any issue with the templates there.
If you’re still having an issue with that, please contact our support team so they can guide you.
I am told you have a few tickets created, just create another one with this issue and someone will help you. Thanks,
Tom Chedd.

Are you using the extra folder of bb-marketplace within your path?
Which template are you overriding? Or is this a function you are adding?November 17, 2016 at 5:12 am #47889SKYNET
Participant@fervous
thank you for your helpSo that this is easy for me, here is a video of my FTP, tell me there is a problem ?
To know that there was an update of one social and marketplace not long ago, I did not update the files of the child theme, except the file archive-product.php, This is up to date in my child theme. Whenever I add a custom wc vendors code, it does not work !! 🙁
November 17, 2016 at 5:46 am #47890SKYNET
ParticipantI also add the following code:
https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/remove-add-cart-vacation-mode-enabled/
If the seller is on vacation, we always see the button “add to cart”

The video moves fast, so I was trying to look closely at your file paths.
From what I could see, it looked like for the store-settings.php you were not using the bb-marketplace folder..
Please check to be sure that any of the wc-vendors templates that are overridden in the BuddyBoss Marketplace plugin have this path in your child theme:
wp-content/themes/onesocial-child/bb-marketplace/wc-vendors/Only the wc vendors templates that have not been overridden in the BuddyBoss Marketplace plugin should have the path:
wp-content/themes/onesocial-child/wc-vendors/They DO override the store-settings.php. So that template should have the bb-marketplace folder, looking like: /onesocial-child/bb-marketplace/wc-vendors/dashboard/store-settings.php

ParticipantHi,
Unfortunately I did not understand the part of your message, the google translation did not help me, i will see with a person who speak english can be.
Please tell me what to do exactly so that I can understand, thanks.November 18, 2016 at 1:34 pm #47982Anna
Memberstore-settings.php + OneSocial and BuddyBoss Marketplace ….
November 18, 2016 at 1:39 pm #47985SKYNET
ParticipantIn fact the store-settings.php file is not in bb-marketplace, I just add it and it works, bravo !
So do not have the store-settings.php file in the following directory?
/ Public_html / wp-content / themes / onesocial-child / wc-vendors / dashboard-

MemberBien!
/ Public_html / wp-content / themes / onesocial-child / bb-marketplace / wc-vendors / dashboard
/ Public_html / wp-content / themes / onesocial-child / bb-marketplace / wc-vendors / store
/ Public_html / wp-content / themes / onesocial-child / bb-marketplace / wc-vendors / frontComme ça..

ParticipantOk thank you very much Anna :-), I did not understand why it did not work with my theme, now yes.
I just made another video, I have a lot of file / file in the directory below, it does not matter? : http://recordit.co/j1fh0nlMjo
/ Public_html / wp-content / themes / onesocial-child / wc-vendors / dashboard
For the other code, the “add to cart” button always appears, I add your code, but it does not work
https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/remove-add-cart-vacation-mode-enabled/
: http://recordit.co/j1fh0nlMjo
/public_html/wp-content/themes/onesocial-child/wc-vendors/dashboard

Since you are using the BuddyBoss theme… when you want to modify a W C Vendors template, you need to first check if BuddyBoss has already modified the template. Do this by checking in the buddyboss-marketplace plugin.
wp content / plugins / buddyboss-marketplace / template / wc-vendors
If the template has already been modified by BuddyBoss, then you need to use this path when editing it and putting it into your child theme:
Si le thème a déjà été modifié par BuddyBoss, alors vous devez utiliser ce chemin d’accès lors de sa modification et de sa mise en place dans votre thème enfant:
wp content / themes / onesocial-child / bb-marketplace / wc-vendors /
If they have NOT modified the template that you want to edit, then you use this path:
S’ils n’ont pas modifié le modèle que vous souhaitez modifier, utilisez ce chemin:
wp content / themes / onesocial-child / wc-vendors /
Any template that they have already modified needs to be saved within the bb-marketplace folder in your onesocial-child theme.
I am sorry, I do not know why the code for the vacation status is not working.

ParticipantYou speak French well now, it’s cool 🙂
Ok for folder / file movements in the child theme, I had a wc-vendors file at the root of the child theme, you have to put it in bb-marketplace.It is a pity that buddyboss does not warn their clients that some file has been modified, it is difficult to know which file to be modified by buddyboss, you may be a trick to know?

ParticipantHave you tried the code for holiday mode on the social marketplace theme? Is it working on your side ?
November 20, 2016 at 12:26 pm #48103Anna
Member@skynet
Not yet– I have only tested that on Storefront. Most code I offer to WCV users I only test and use on Storefront, since the Social Marketplace usually requires so much further testing and alteration.
It’s be a nice option to have on my site so I will try this later. I am not sure I want to go through the steps to find out WHY it is not working if it does not work, though. 😉 I will let you know. 🙂November 20, 2016 at 12:27 pm #48104SKYNET
ParticipantOk no problem, thanks 🙂

Pour ce faire, vérifiez dans le plugin buddyboss-marketplace. wp content / plugins / buddyboss-marketplace / template / wc-vendorsI can verify that the Vacation Message (hide add to cart button) code does not work on my site in which I am using the OneSocial/Social Marketplace theme & plugin. They may have the add to cart button placed using different WooCommerce hooks- I am not sure.

ParticipantHi Guys,
Same problem here. The code “Remove “Add to Cart” When Vacation Mode is Enabled https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/remove-add-cart-vacation-mode-enabled/” doesn’t work with the One social/Marketplace theme.
Any solution since the last post?
I also submitted this issue to “buddytheme” support.
Best regards,
Sebastien-

MemberHello-
Vacation mode with that template: no, I have not gotten this code to work with the OneSocial / Social Marketplace.
The first add to cart button on the product loop page is ajax in this theme.
The second add the cart button is Altered somehow- whether they are using a different hook or not, I do not know.
If you use Simply Show Hooks you may be able to locate which hook they are using for the button and change it if needed. -
