    Hi,

My orders have stopped being set to Processing after payment is received. It used to work fine but now they are remaining at Pending Payment even after they are paid. Any suggestions?

Looking in the IPN log in Paypal here is some info:

    Notification URL: http://gameofwar.exchange/?wc-api=WC_PayPalAP&paypal_chain_ipn=1&order_id=1937
    HTTP response code: 200
    IPN type: Adaptive payment made

    Hello

Are you able to tell me what version of WC Vendors this worked with last? I have done a few changes in paypal AP recently to fix a few other rounding issues but I’m not sure how that is responsible for this.

The return URL is the only other thing that has changed recently but that would have broken everyone’s.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    Hello,

On further investigation of the code I believe 1.6.2 should work. Can you downgrade to that version and tell me if everything works again?

If so I know what the issue will be.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    Hi,

The last date it worked on was 22nd April. I don’t know the exact date I upgraded but was pretty close to the release of the new version.

I’ll try downgrading – where can I get the earlier version from? Presumably I just remove the current plugin and reinstall?

    Ok Great,

I know exactly what lines changed between those versions so I’ll work on fixing those so they work in the new version.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

I have the same problem…which started at the same time (on or about April 22nd).
    Thanks Jamie.

Hi JohnDF — This should be fixed with the master on github.com/wcvendors/wcvendors/ if you want to install that version now and give it a try! It will be soon released as v1.7.2 once we add a few more tweaks to unrelated parts of WC Vendors.

On version v1.7.2 and still having this issue I’m afraid. I’m going to downgrade until you guys sort this out.

I’m having a similar issue. But I’m getting this message on my orders, “Unpaid order cancelled – time limit reached. Order status changed from Pending Payment to Cancelled.”

Luckily my vendor contacted me asking why she couldn’t see the order but sees the payment in paypal.

Question about reverting to an older version. I just uninstall the current plugin and then “add” the new one with the older version date?

    Hi Willow,

The time limit reached is a WooCommerce variable, specifically for products with inventory levels that get reduced when a buyer adds a product to their cart. If the order is not marked as “Processing” or “Completed” within the time frame set in the inventory settings, WooCommerce cancels the order and places the inventory back for other buyers to order. You can modify this setting as you see fit in WooCommerce settings.

However, that’s not the problem of course, the problem is PayPal not marking orders as processing. So, let’s work on that. 🙂 Before you revert to v1.6.2, could you please provide a screenshot of your order? That way we can see what the order notes are and if there’s a PayPal transaction involved. Do you have the wp-admin->WooCommerce->Settings set to give vendors tax or is that unchecked/disabled?

The only change for PayPal from 1.6.2 to 1.7.2 is that tax should work fine. Literally, all we did was tell PayPal what the tax amount actually was. It shouldn’t have any effect in this whatsoever.

My support on this is going to be a bit weak because I’m nowhere near a PayPal expert, that’s all Jamie’s territory. But once we figure it out a bit more it’ll tell me where to point him at so we can debug and put the issue to rest. Help us help you, and we can fix it for everyone instead of reverting to old versions. 🙂

Thanks for the reply Ben. I’m just getting this store up and running so we’re doing a lot of testing first before we go live with the rest of the group. To answer your question, I do have it marked to send all taxes and shipping to the vendor. What confuses me, is there is not inventory to reduce. These are all custom made at the time of ordering. Do I just have a setting marked incorrectly somewhere?

    Hello,

I’ve made a small change the paypal system. Can you download the master file off our git hub and try that version please?

https://github.com/wcvendors/wcvendors <- click on download zip. Activate that version (it will still list as 1.7.2) and then try to process an order? cheers, Jamie.

    Hello,

It seems to be failing before it even gets to the paypal payment verification. I’ve just disabled 2 WC Vendor settings. Can you process another test order please?

Also do you know you can put the shop into sandbox mode with paypal so you can create as many test orders as you want and not have to pass real money around?

You can sign up at developer.paypal.com.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    Ok,

Looks like its still not returning correctly. I’m going to have to setup a completely new testing environment so I can debug this issue.

Hopefully I can sort this out by the end of the day. I’m away tomorrow so it might not be till the weekend.

I’ll let you know how I go.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

Ok. Thanks Jamie. I was just looking at the sandbox report and all I received was the tax amount and not the full payment.

    Hello,

I’ve just completed my debugging and fixed the error. I’ve tested with and without give tax/shipping to vendors and all is now working in my test store.

Due to this being a critical issue, I’ve just released v1.7.3 to address this. This is available through all the usual channels.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

I am having this issue. Have hired a couple people off upwork to fix problem and no one can fix it. It creates bigger problems because those who’s orders aren’t completed don’t get an order email. How do I fix this issue? I am not expert on the backend is why I hire people on elance unfortunately. How do I get this fixed? I would appreciate help. Thx!

    @chopperskisses
Please create a new forum thread and describe your issue in detail, and include your WooCommerce System Status with it.
This thread is quite old, and there are several issues mentioned throughout this thread so I am not sure which issue you are having. I will be able to help you better if you would open your own new thread stating your issue in detail.
    thank you
