    Hi,
I would like to delay payments to vendors by two weeks so that it gives buyers the chance to return the goods. I know that the Payment Schedule has “Daily, Weekly, Biweekly” etc. available. In a question about this in 2015 you said that the payment dates are every two weeks from the time that the schedule is saved. This means that all commissions even within that period will be paid out. There was a hint that you would be updating this. Can you tell me if any changes have been made to this such that commissions would be paid only if the selected time period (Payment schedule selection) has elapsed after the purchase was made? Or if not is there any way around this.
    Thanks for your help
    Les

    Hello,
At this time, we do not have a way to work with adaptive payments to configure a payment delay.
In the future if we are able to work with a new paypal system- or even another gateway/processor to allow delayed payments, we will- but at the time, the paypal adaptive will not allow this type of configuration.

The only way around this is to pay vendors manually. More tedious for the site admin, but it would allow the delayed payment, as you would pay the vendors using the time frame you felt was appropriate.

Thanks for your help. I have now signed up to Stripe with you and rejected the PayPal option. One hiccup I made when signing up through your link is that I created a second account with you as I thought I was providing sign in details for Stripe. I now have this account shown as “Leslie” and another as “Leslie Dennis” I don’t know if there is a way of combining these for convenience.

Just another question about the setup of WC Vendors with Stripe commissions. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out why I was seeing zero commission paid to a vendor when I had enabled 90% on both the WCV commissions Tab within Woo and on the General Tab. I was being paid all of it. My understanding was that this would create global commissions unless set in an individuals account. After pulling my hair out for while, I tried adding the 90% into the individual’s account settings and it worked fine. Do you have any Ideas why the global setting would not work?

    Thanks

    Les

No- I do not know why the universal settings for commissions are not applying. that should not be happening.
Just to double-check.. you set the commission rate here?
wp admin > woocommerce > wc vendors > commission (tab)?
This should apply for all vendors unless the commission is overridden on the vendor level by you setting a special rate in the vendor’s user settings.

I’ll see if I can combine the accounts..

    Hi, thanks for your help.
The commission rate was checked but I have now gone through all areas for commissions and reset them and all seems ok now thanks. It may be that I had selected percentage under pro commission in the user profile but not entered any content.
