Question mega thread: sorry

Im heading out for a few.. i compiled a list of things i came across today when i had time to edit the site.. perhaps some of them can be addressed whenever you guys find time.. sorry i ask so many questions!

1. when should users see the my-account page? ( the one that has the welcome message ) because i cant seem to find it

2. In vendor dashboard – there are two add coupon bottons… how do i get rid of one?

3. If a vendor doesnt list a shipping price, the order fails from the buyers side.. but doesnt state in the pop up box that there isnt any shipping in the listing.. it just says shipping method not selected.. which is confusing to the user..

4. How can i change the black and white buttons in the vendor dashboad to my theme colors?

5. under woocommerce>orders does the “processing” status eventually change itself to completed somehow? or am i to manually change each order to complete?

6. from the vendor side, in their dashboard they can add tracking numbers to orders.. when they click add tracking it brings up the box to do so but it is smashed and difficult to type in..

7. i receive order information in an email as the admin when users start an order, but does woo email the actual owner on its own so they know?

8. Is there anyway to create a hyperlink to the vendor application, or is there a shortcode? Ide like to create an info page for vendors and add a “sign up” button that brings them to the application if possible.

9. redirect to shop dashboard doesnt work for me when i copy and paste the code from knowledge base to my functions php file.. it just shows the homepage again………

10. i cant seem to figure out my login and register page issues, clicking login brings me to mysite.com/wp-login with a custom wordpress overlay from buddyboss.. and clicking register brings me to mysite.com/register/ with a slightly different looking theme, and the buddypress registration screen i believe.. how hard is it to get a matching login and register screen -__________- i just want something clean, matching and simple for both.. im looking to start with something like yours @fervous, basically like the one in the picture i attached.

[WC Vendors Support]

1 – My account page is WooCommerce. People see it when they login or register.

2 – Templates. Look for the one that says quick-links.php or something like that.

3 – Set shipping defaults.

4 – I dont know

5 – Payment gateways and admins control order statuses. Gateways change to processing once payment is received, and befor eshipping. If virtual, they generally go completed. https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/managing-orders/

6 – CSS, theme thing. Anna can probably help more than me on this, I’m css dumb.

7 – obviously. And you can test this yourself. TRY THINGS before you ask. 🙂 Pretend to be a customer. Test how things work. Voila, now you know and educated yourself instead of making me type.

8 – google “how do i add something to my wordpress menu”

9 – Then you did it wrong, or your theme is overriding our code.

10 – Theme issue, not wc vendors related. Clicking login and logout and stuff seems to really get you asking us questions, that’s not us. It’s not us at all. It’s your theme (and you!)
