    Hi support

Just a couple of questions that’s come from my client as they went live today, so I just want to double check with you guys.

    1) Shipping – so at the moment I’ve got national (UK) and international (rest of the world) shipping enabled for the client and they have come back saying some of the vendors have multiple shipping costs, for example one vendor has six different types of shipping (two for UK, two for Europe, one for US and one for rest of the world). How do I go about implementing that?

    2) Payment schedule – so I had instant payment enabled to pay commissions to vendors instantly but my client didn’t like that it showed on the PayPal checkout because people can work out the commissions so I changed it to daily payments instead to solve that. My question is, do I need to anything with cron jobs or do the commission payments process automatically on a daily basis?

Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.

    Hello,
    1. The only method of shipping that will provide proper allocation of shipping funds to the vendor at checkout is the Vendor Shipping.
Other methods will send the shipping funds to the site admin.
If you use Vendor Shipping, and you use Country Table Rate, vendors can enter shipping rates for each country that they ship to. That drawback is, they have to enter rates for EACH country that they ship to.
If they use Flat rate, it is limited to national and international rates.

The site admin can have flat rate as the site default, but go to: wp admin > users > thevendor > edit and allow this particular vendor to use country table rate Vendor Shipping.

    2. If you have set-up PayPal Adaptive Payments and also have masspay (some countries do not), and have enabled once daily payments in wp admin > woocommerce > wc vendors > payment, then the daily payments should occur without needing to enable or configure anything else. You can test to see if masspay is working by trying to do a NOW payment on that screen.

    Thanks Anna for your reply.

    1. Yes we’ve got Flat rate enabled, as the Country Table Rate seems too complex for each vendor to have to set up. Within Woocommerce you can set up Flat Rate for a country e.g. UK and for a content e.g. Europe and then rest of the world, is this something that can be done in WCV? If not, is this something that can be built or added in upcoming version of WCV?
I remember a couple of months back you mentioned you were working on the shipping module. What new features will be coming and when?

    2. Thanks for mentioning Masspay, I wasn’t aware of that and will look into it 🙂

    Thanks

    @firas
After WooCommerce releases 3.0, we’ll release WC Vendors Pro 1.4.0
We will have the following shipping options added:
    v1.4 shipping features:
So far, for Flat Rate, we should have these features added:
Minimum spend per vendor for shipping (store level)
Maximum spend per vendor for shipping (store level)
Max spend per product ( Charge no more than X no matter qty ) (product and store level)
Per order flat rates ie: $5 no matter the items international and national (store level)
Free shipping over x spend ( store level, product level? )

For country Table rate, these features should be added:
    zip codes
    zip code wildcard
    zip code ranges
    qty overrides per entry
Max spend no more than $X no matter qty (product and store level)
Remove any flat rate shipping options from shipping configuration in admin area when selected
Show country rate table for admin override and calculate shipping based on this.
