    Hi there,

I want to use the vendors commissions etc but I do not want the vendor stores. Is it easy enough for me to remove?

    Thanks

I would also prefer not to have the stores and the post type “Vendor Stores” at all. It doesn’t integrate well with my current woocommerce shop setup.

I guess a solution could be to block urls with your chosen vendor_stores slug in .htaccess. Is this what you intended ROBERT?

But surely, it would be great to disable it inside the plugin.
    Any thoughts?

    Martin

In the next release, we’ll have a snippet to remove the sold by links on the site, so effectively removing them will remove the publics knowledge about the vendor stores and they will effectively vanish. 🙂

You can achieve the same by navigating to \wc-vendors-pro-v1.0.2\wc-vendors-pro\public\partials\product\

Comment out everything you see here. 🙂

    Hello,

Disabling the vendor stores will break the functionality of the plugin. The main reason we use the custom post type now in pro is that we have a much greater control over the look and feel of the vendor store fronts instead of the standard product loop.

As Ben mentioned in our next release you will be able to remove any link to the stores but they will still be active.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

@Jamie Are you saying doing what I mentioned would break code as well?

    Hi Mlodia,

Your code will just disable the sold by links on the various pages, which in the next version our remove_actions will work again 🙂

    cheers,

    Jamie.

Hi, I’ve updated recently and now my Sold By: links have re appeared on the checkout page. I need to remove this. You mentioned the next version would be able to do this but I cannot see it?

    Hi Robert,

Are you using the code from the KnowledgeBase articles?
