    Hi,

We will not be using PayPal on our website, only Stripe. I checked the box in the admin dashboard to hide PayPal on the Vendor Application page but it’s still showing up on this page: https://gundailydeals.com/index.php/vendor_dashboard/shop_settings/

Can you please explain how this can be removed so we’re not confusing our vendors?

    Thank you,
    Robert

Are you just using WC Vendors Free? Not Pro?

    Hello,
Robert, I asked if you were only using WC Vendors free because the dashboard you are showing in the screenshot is the WC Vendors free dashboard. It is much easier to hide the paypal address field (and a different method is used) if you want to hide it in the Pro dashboard.
If you guide your vendors to the page that has the shortcode for the WC Vendors Pro dashboard instead of the free dashboard, then all you have to do is check the checkbox on these two settings pages to hide the paypal email fields:
wp admin > woocommerce > wc vendors > settings form
    and
wp admin > woocommerce > wc vendors > signup form
On those pages there is a checkbox: PayPal Email
check that on those pages and it will hide the paypal email field on the pro dashboard and the vendor signup/application forms.

To TOTALLY hide the paypal email on the free dashboard I think you have some lines to remove from a template… so if you decide to keep using that dashboard, let me know and I’ll find the lines..

    Hi Anna,

I guess I’m a bit confused on this then. I paid extra to have the Pro version thinking it had more functions, features and options than the Free version of WC Vendors. Am I missing something here?

Is the only additional feature included in the paid Pro version the inclusion of PayPal Adaptive Payments? If so, then I could have saved myself some money.

If not, what are are the differences?

If there are more differences than just the inclusion of PayPal adaptive payments, then I’ll keep the Pro version and will need whatever it takes to get rid of PayPal adaptive payments.

Please answer all questions above and share whatever is needed to get rid of PayPal adaptive payments.

Also, I need to make sure that PayPal adaptive payments remains gone thru future updates.

I think there is definitely a misunderstanding. PayPal Adaptive is included with both free & Pro. No- that is not all there is to Pro AT ALL.. I am not sure what I said to make you think that. I am confused…

Please, let’s try and resolve this issue.

The screenshot you showed me above.. this one:

    ……..

That is showing the FREE Wc Vendors dashboard page.

Is that the dashboard you will be using for your vendors?

Or are you going to be using the (much better!!) Pro dashboard?

If you will be using the Pro Dashboard, you need only have to use two check boxes to completely remove the paypal email field for the vendors.

wp admin > woocommerce > wc vendors > settings form
    and
wp admin > woocommerce > wc vendors > signup form
On those pages there is a checkbox: PayPal Email
check that on those pages and it will hide the paypal email field on the pro dashboard and the vendor signup/application forms.

Thank you! I definitely want to use the prettier more robust plugin. I checked and already have those two boxes checked to hide PayPal but it’s still showing up as you can see from the above screenshot you reposted. Do I just deactivate the regular WC Vendors plugin then to make the Pro version only available? Please explain.

Yeah, I just logged in again thru the test vendor account I setup and went to this page here https://gundailydeals.com/index.php/vendor_dashboard/shop_settings/ and the PayPal field is still showing up even though I have those two boxes checked to hide PayPal.

Here is my Test vendor login for you to check and see what’s happening:
    U: [email protected]
    P: No1butus2$?

Please let me know what you find out.

    Thank you!

No- do not delete anything form WC Vendors free. Both plugins must run simultaneously. Keep both dashboards, too- just guide your vendors to the pro dashboard now instead of the free dashboard.

Check your site now as a vendor. I changed your VENDORS link in the menu to the Pro Dashboard instead of the free dashboard.

    Robert,
I went to your wp-admin > appearance > menus and I changed the Vendor menu link to point to the url for the Pro Dashboard page instead of the url for the free dashboard page.
