    Hy,
    Is there a way to remove the “store” extension-string from the Shop Name which is being generated?
    All my vendors are user names, so I get rid of this “…….Store” wording.
    Any idea?

    This will make the store name the vendor’s username by default. They can still change it to whatever they wish. theme/child theme functions.php:

    /* Change the default vendor store name from "Username Store" to "Username" */
add_filter('wcv_default_store_name', 'new_wcv_default_store_name');
function new_wcv_default_store_name () {
  $current_user = wp_get_current_user();

    Anna – a related question (I think it’s on the WCV platform): is there a way to change the name ‘Vendor’ (specifically the “Apply to become a vendor” line on the ‘my-account’ page), to another term?

    Just change the words between the single quotes $message = ‘ whatever you wish… ‘
