We are using your Pro plugin for creating service marketplace. We can’t use services with your software because we want to some filters for services.

-When people add product they must add service location not a store location. For example: I’m a photographer I’m servicing in LA, San Francisco, New York. I must add my services locations. Maybe vendor is freelancer and he hasn’t have a store.

-Customer must add details on cart. This details: I want to take service in San Francisco, 15th March, 8 pm. And vendor must know this informations. Vendors must approve or deny in 24 hours.

-I want to add filter to my home screen. Like: Which organization ? When? Which place? Which category?

    You need:

    WooCommerce 2.7.X
    WC Vendors 1.9.X
    WC Vendors Pro 1.4.X
    WooThemes Bookings latest version
WC Vendors Pro – Bookings Integration 1.0.X

And then that’s it. You’re good to go.

The only problem is that Woo, WCV Pro, and the Bookings integration arent released until tomorrow. Yea, tomorrow. Most people waited 2 years for us to write this. You’ll have to wait one measly day. 🙂

The combination of those plugins above will give your vendors a wonderfully fluid front end experience for selling bookable products such as services Hell, you can start your own expedia.com if you want to with this plugin combo. And I fully expect thousands of our customers to do so for that and many other marketplace ideas. 🙂 Have fun!

This is really expensive. (https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-bookings/) What is the best alternative? We can’t pay this money.

There are no alternatives. If you want a website to be so complex, and you want all the features that you do, well, someone has to code them. And the problem is, most people never want this. Only a few (you!) do. So, if nobody pays for it, nobody writes it.

You arent even getting started. 🙂 Bookings is the least of your expense worries. You have many more plugins to go.

We paid 150 dollars for WC Vendors pro. We bought 59 dollars theme and we can’t filter and add some features this is sad. We want to just two features. Which place and when. This is the simple one. We don’t need big booking plugin. Just filter and add this features.

Your “two features” are literally, three times the code of of ALL of your existing features combined. You do not need filters. You need more plugins because what you need is INCREDIBLY COMPLEX. 🙂

If you do not like prices for the WooCommerce platform, which are the cheapest in the entire planet, the only alternative to do what you want would be Magento and here is a link to the software you need: https://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/umarketplace-suite-multi-vendor-marketplace.html

If you disagree with me — you are more than welcome to. WC Vendors Pro does have 300 filters and actions for your use. And we will add any amount of filters and actions to the plugin should YOUR custom developers request them. If you really think all you need is a “filter” then go grab a custom developer to code the filter for you, because those only take minutes to make. 😉 (a bit of sarcasm here!! 🙂 )

Murat, Allow me to chime in here. With all due respect.

The product (WCV) works. If you want it to do more and it isn’t available, you just have to add the necessary products/extensions as needed. And be prepared to spend to get that functionality if need be.

Just because you want it to do something more– that isn’t available out of the box because it is beyond the (current) scope of the product– is not the product’s fault. It’s just that your needs require more specific elements that the product doesn’t have (at least not yet), and they are working on functions that are of a higher priority to more customers.

You’re already getting an amazing bargain with the product, and a lot of people have a million specific features they want for their own use/sites, that the product just can’t answer all for, but that the general product can try to accommodate for the most impact/use for the majority of users.

If a feature you want is not available, you can ask. And if it isn’t available then, you do like the rest of us and find a custom solution or buy what you need. But it isn’t the product or the developer’s fault because they advertised what you assumed the product to have.

I didn’t say anything about your products features. I talked about your friends behaviours. Maybe product isn’t enough for us but customer support must be great. Thank you.

I shoot from the hip and tell you the truth. The truth sometimes can conflict with your thoughts of how easy or hard something is. What you want is really hard, and what you want is wanted by few, so it’s also expensive.

However, a tidbit of food for thought. How much is the total solution? The entire site, paid for and all? $750? $1000? That seems pretty reasonable to me if I owned a marketplace and was selling bookable service products. If I’m selling that means I’m making money. I dont expect free rent, so why should all the work to build your website be cheap? Sure, it can be cheap, but you’ll have no website. If you want hard work done, you have to pay for it.

You might also seek out some venture capital people that can help you raise the many tens of dollars to start your website. I’d be happy to contribute with the proper documentation and investor forms.

I can’t understand your answers. I ask just a question and you answered my questions with joking about my questions. Maybe I paid thousands of dollars you can’t know this. Now you are giving a lesson to me about life. This is really interesting. I just said I didn’t like your answers because you are kidding. Please look your talking style. I’m the customer and I know what is the customer. I have a team about another start-up and I know what is the start-up. This communication must finish now. Thank you for your messages.
