Allow me to raise the following consideration:
I would like to have the shop filtering widgets (Layered Nav) also for the vendor stores. Imagine a vendor has 100 products then it would be difficult for the user to find what he needs. Also I think for the UX it would be good to have a consistent structure for the main shop and for the vendor stores (you could still add a header with a profile image and the ratings.
To achieve this you would need to create a Taxonomy possibly called “Vendors” and for each vendor there would be a term. Now you could take the woocommerce archive-product.php template and rename it to taxonomy-vendors.php and everything would work as desired.
the hook do_action( ‘woocommerce_archive_description’ ); could be used to add a vendor store specific header.what do you think? wouldn’t it make WC Vendors more versatile?
