I’ve placed a cart widget in my sidebar. When I ‘Add Product to Cart’ the product shows there in the sidebar. But when I click on the X to Remove it, it takes me to the same page, which is the main store page. The product is not removed. I’ve tried this as both an admin and as a guest. Your help is appreciated., thanks

This is not WC Vendors related.

Hi Ben, I do understand. I figured out that problem (hadn’t added the necessary WC pages, mainly the cart page). After going through several steps, including deactivating and reactivating all plugins, I’m unable to get the one and only store that I’d set up to show. Their products are showing, as well as the text link to their store. But when I click on that link I go to their store url and get a 404 error code. How can I get the actual vendor’s store to show on the page again? Thanks again, Ben! 🙂

1.) What is the URI you’re using for your vendor slug? wp-admin > Woo > WC V > General > by default it is “vendors” which would mean example.com/vendors/store-name/

2.) Are there any messages in red on wp-admin > Woo > System Status? Anything in RED means YOUR SITE IS DEAD! 🙂

No Red where you mentioned in admin. The URL is mysite.com/vendors/store-name/
Is there a way to view ‘all vendors’ stores’ individually, or do I remember correctly that you said it can’t be done in WordPress?
    Thank you.

Show me a screenshot of the problems, I’m having a hard time understanding what you’re actually trying to do please.

Just in case this helps… this url also gets the 404 message when I try to access as the vendor:
    http://my-site.com/dashboard/settings

A screen shot will just show you the 404 error message. Basically, I’m wondering how to restore a store onto the url where it was before. The 2 products that I added for that particular vendor are still there. But where it says Sold By X, and X is a link to the vendor’s store, it takes me to the proper url, but there is a 404 error message instead of the vendor’s store. And as I mentioned above, when I visit that particular vendor’s dashboard, the dashboard shows up correctly, but when I click on the other tabs I get the 404 again. Are you ready for this? Now I’ve run into 2 additional issues. But the main one that I hope you can help me with is that I cannot logout of the vendor’s dashboard so that I can login to my admin. So sorry to ask but… how can I logout? The usual WP header area is not there. I tried to login through my Go Daddy hosting area but when I click ‘manage’ I’m back at the vendor’s dashboard. Not having a good day. Sorry. Thanks in advance, Ben! 🙂

I already have the permalinks set as shown there. My (temporary) issue is getting back into my site. I can call my hosting support for that if you can’t guide me. Have you had that happen when your Word Press header goes away and you can’t login or out?

I’m not even thinking any of these issues are related to WC Vendors. It sounds like your site has issues, and what they are, I cant even begin to guess……. You need to get your website back in working order first.

You’re right, the last part is not related. But I’m back into the site as the admin (needed to clear the cache of cookies and temp files, then login to the site/wp/admin. I write this so I’ll remember next time, and hopefully help out anybody else that comes upon this issue. If I can’t figure out the other part I’ll be back. Thanks for your usual great support, Ben! 🙂
