Hi Ben/Jamie
I’m asking Vendors for their first name and last name during registration from the ‘My Account’ page. I use the first name and last name fields to update Billing first name and last name fields. I also want to update the $shop_page link and Shop Name from the same fields. Is it possible?
So upon registration, the vendor ‘Super Jack” will have http://awesomestore.com/vendors/super-jack ready, without going to the Shop Settings page.
(I’m hiding the Store Settings page from Vendors since Seller Info etc. are added from the ‘My Account’ page itself)

P.S. This code from Jamie updates Shop Name but not $shop_page link. Also this set during login, and not registration.
This is already part of WC Vendors as of v1.7.0:
wp-admin->WooCommerce->WC Vendors->Vendor Display Name(Display Name) for this. 🙂 No custom code, no configuration, just works!
Ben, I noticed that $shop_page link is still set from the userid/email address, unless the vendor goes to the shop settings page and enters the Shop Name. Is it possible to set the $shop_page link to ‘firstname-lastname’ at the time of registration?
