I just had a chance to finally stand up 1.0.1 on a dev machine and I have to say, nice work guys! There is some really good progress here. Excited to see how this moves along.

At first glance I do not see Variable Products supported without going through wp-admin. 1) is this true or am I blind? 2) If it’s not supported now, do you have any plans to support it?

Thanks! 🙂 Glad you’re enjoying Pro.

    1.) True.

    2.) Yes! In version 1.2.0.

When will be this 1.2.0 version with Variable Products, Shipping module? My opinion, 1.1.0 version missed so much main functionality. I very waited this product but it’s look like “winter boots without tread”. 🙁
If vendor add new simple product they could do this but what to do if he wants, and mostly he wants, to add variable product?

    Hi Asta,

1.2.0 is probably 4-5 weeks away, and 1.1.0 1-2 weeks away. Not everyone needs winter boots with tread, some are happy with sandals on the sandy beaches. 🙂

The problem with the Variable products is that WooThemes rewrote their variable/attribute code in WooCommerce 2.4, which is completely different and we had to start over from scratch. Otherwise, it would have been in the first release.
