    Hello, Great plugin,

I am facing few problems here,
After a customer orders for a product,
-Customer gets and email billing of his ordered product.
    -Admin receives the email billing.
-The vendor who is selling the product is not receiving one.
-The vendor only receives the commission.

How is it possible so that, vendor will receive the new order ?
and even send the commission details to the admin.

    Hi Umanga,

Emails are sent with the “Notify Vendors” email template found in your WooCommerce email settings. If enabled, it will email vendors upon a new order being Processing or Completed (no other statuses, like on-hold or pending, will work, only processing/completed).

If emails arent firing, go to our KnowledgeBase and read the article titled Debugging Email Issues.

    Cheers

Thank you for your response Ben, Notify vendor is enabled within the email settings of woocommerce. However, the email for Recipient(s) is showing up. That might have been a issue sending emails ? I am not sure how to configure it.

That is configured correctly. Ignore that it shows as sending to the admin. Try this article out — This is the only solution, it’s all up to you to debug this one since it’s a complex issue that is unrelated to WC Vendors.

Thanks again Ben for the quick, response. I’d forget to mention the existing email for the recipient. How can i change that? Because its totally different email that i’ve configured with SMTP plugin.

Always happy to help. I’m not sure what your last question is, though, there’s no email to configure for the Notify Vendors. It sends to the vendor for the product(s) ordered in the WooCommerce order, and is automatically sent to them. There’s nothing to configure for it, other than enabling it. Since all we do is hook into WooCommerce to send emails, and WooCommerce hooks into WordPress for emails, most any SMTP plugin that overrides WordPress *should* work just fine. Note, I say *should*. 🙂

Well, You answered my question though.
I have not used paypal in my website, is it because of that the emails are not being sent ? Using only BACS gateway, this does not send any emails. While, i have been using WC Vendors Test Gateway. This sends email.

-Vendor is not receiving any emails for new order from customer while customer and admin both receive.
-Vendor receive the bill for commission but the admin does not receive.

Sorry for the trouble, It seems this plugin sends commission to the vendor after selling product. I’ve been have been all wrong.
I would want to send the commission to the website admin, while the vendor will get his full price and only 20% of it will go as a commission to the website admin.

Yea, that’s just because it’s an error in how the BACS gateway was written. It doesnt manage order statuses, it’s just meant as a test gateway nothing more. REAL Payment gateways do it correctly. That’s why I wrote the WC Vendors Test gateway, so admins can test things properly.

WC Vendors considers the VENDOR as the commission receiver. Admin gets what’s left over. If you wanted the vendor to get 80%, you’d set the commission rate to 80. Easy as that! 🙂

    Cheers

That’s too much easy i guess i am not sure if the client will like it that way.
Anyways, Thank you very much for the support Ben 🙂
