Hello,
We’re creating a number of custom fields for Vendor-created products on our Yogible.com site, and are using FacetWP to enable customers to filter products on the marketplace via these custom fields.
So far, we’ve created end-date and start-date fields to test the concept. The fields are live in our customized product-edit.php template, and we’re clear that the data in these fields are getting saved to the DB.
We’ve set up a FacetWP facet to filter by these date fields, and it’s not working (see the test page here: http://yogible.com/wpdev/adventures/
We’ve tested to see if the Facet and template are set up correctly according to FacetWP’s specs… they seem to be, and we tried a couple of configurations, with no luck.
We’re also posing this question to FacetWP support, to attack the problem from both angles.
Any suggestions regarding how we might get this to work?

I’ve never used FacetWP and have zero ideas on this. 🙁 If you find a solution, post it up so others may benefit when they search!
Turns out it was a theme conflict. Switching to another theme did the trick. What seems to be the issue is that the Listable theme, with its own built-in facetWP configurationns may actually blocking facets from working that aren’t actually calling variables defined within Listable’s own parameters… including facets that are calling custom WC-vendors fields. This is only a speculation. Rather than investigate deeply, we just went with another theme.
Hi Guys. I’ve just done this with Facet WP and have a nice shiny new search page on the front. I went down the path initially with Listable (i am guessing you did this to get non purchasable items) but ended up going woo with catalog mode so that a store contained everything the vendor offers.
