How much do you charge for enhancements / development to be done on WC Vendors?
I want a system similar to xxxxxxxxx(be warned: this is an Adult Service provider).
Create a bogus (feak) Studio).
WC Vendors Pro is almost there: just need to be able to generate 30 second previews and convert the video files to several formats which I assume is using ffmpeg.

1.) Take uploaded file and ffmpeg it and convert it to various formats and attach it to the product
2.) Generate screenshots from the clip and allow the vendor to choose X many
As easy as this does sound, it’s actually rather complex. Got cash?

1) A couple weeks ago, I installed ffmpeg, screwed around with User Role Editor and added a Custom Field to WC Vendors to get part of the puzzle working. https://www.fetishsource.com/video-test/. First Product has the Play icon and the video plays in the pop-up. Going to the Product page, the video is after the Long Description and uses the Custom Field in which I added a little hack to the theme code. However, because I did not use a ‘if not’, going to the second Product shows a broken video screen.
2) The Vendor can either upload Preview MP4s or press the Generate button. The generated Previews aren’t animated GIFs created from ffmpeg screenshots, they are MP4s in which the Vendor is able to select the starting point and the duration of up to 30 seconds.
I “forced” my test Product to work by uploading the MP4 Preview. Because the Preview is a MP4, Add Product image doesn’t work so I had to know the URL to put into my Custom Field. A real pain, would be nice to display the Media Library so the Vendor can choose the Preview.
Yeah, I got cash.

It appears KinkBomb is using some flavor of WordPress / Woocommerce.
Adding a Product is rather confusing on KinkBomb and pretty straight forward of FetishSource. They allow only 24 hours to download, where as, I am going to allow no expiration and streaming / downloading. They reformat to several formats, I am only going to reformat to MP4 … not sure about the resolution, I have been testing streaming on an iMac and iPhone 6s Plus without any problems
They offer some features/functions in which I see as not needed at this time.

Reformatting all to mp4 is pretty easy. We’d have to setup something via Node or some other method to interact with ffmpeg. Have it ping the server back when the video is done encoding or whatever. Generate screenshots. Auto attach the mp4. Display the file download details such as length, resolution, size, etc…., on the single product page. All the videos are in the woocommrece_uploads directory so they are all inaccessible by normal methods and secure.
Most of the time for this project would involve with the screenshots and the ffmpeg stuff. I think you’d be around 50-60 hours all in all. It’s not a cheap project, but this is kindof a one-off scenario. Most sites dont use WordPress for porn for some reason, I dont know why that is. We have some other customers doing similar stuff, but not as integrated or as well as you. They just take the file and let their vendors/models upload their own images. You’d be a bar above that’s for sure, and an incredibly easy file uploader to add to their stores.
