I’d like to let you all know that WooCommerce Easy Booking plugin (free one) works with WC Vendors (free one) perfectly. I’ve tested it on my website and wanted to give back to the community by sharing that. (I’m not in any way associated with any of these plugins)

I was looking for a combination of WordPress WooCommerce plugins that would allow me to create a party equipment rental website that would allow others to rent out their products on our website. I was looking into a lot of different bookings plug-ins but most of the WooCommerce booking plug-ins wore geared towards booking appointments or booking vacation rentals. This clearly would not work for equipment rental website. I even tried to use the https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-bookings/ and found out that their bookings plug-in was not meant for equipment rentals even though they advertise that it can be used for party equipment rental https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/bookings-use-case-party-equipment-rental/ but you can quickly see that it was not meant to do that. I tried to follow the instructions there but soon realized that it did not support quantity and was a very confusing way of trying to hack it to make it work for equipment rental. Fortunately, I got a full refund from them and then went on to look for a better combination of plugins that would allow me to create my equipment rental store with multi-vendor support.

Go out there and try it for yourself.

Hint: I think WooCommerce Easy Booking works differently from most other booking plugins in the way that they make the WooCommerce product bookable. Most just create another product type called “bookable” which makes this product incompatible with other plug-ins. But WooCommerce Easy Booking creates a checkmark called “bookable” next to virtual checkbox which makes it work with other plug-ins.

I have not tested it with other plug-ins, but I would assume that this plug-in would be more compatible with other plug-ins then other bookings plug-ins.
