We currently support a minimum of WordPress 4.1 and WooCommerce 3.0. However we encourage you to test and run the most up-to-date versions of all your plugins and themes. This will ensure a smooth running business and reduce your chances of security and other problems.
We recommend that you use a dedicated WordPress hosting company. We do not recommend running an ecommerce business on a shared, cheap hosting plan. You must be using a minimum of PHP 5.6 however we recommend you use the latest your plugins support which in most cases is PHP 7.0 and above.
The main difference between WC Vendors and WC Vendors Pro is that pro provides a complete front end dashboard for your vendors. That allows your vendors to manage their orders, products, coupons and more. We also include a comprehensive shipping system for both flat rate and table rate shipping. If you don’t renew your license then you are free to continue to use the last version that you downloaded. Your license provides access to updates, downloads and support. Once your license expires you can no longer download the product, access premium support or receive updates and bug fixes.
You can set the commission rate at the product level, the vendor level or globally for the entire marketplace. The pro version includes more options for charging commissions beyond the basic percentage system offered in free.
No we do not support WordPress MutliSite for either our Free or Paid plugin. We have no plans to support this feature so please do not ask.
WC Vendors and WC Vendors Pro are developed to work with any 100% compatible WooCommerce theme. This means that your theme implements full compatibility with WooCommerce. If your theme uses the optional woocommerce.php template file, your theme is not supported.
If you have purchased an annual license then your license will last for 12 months from the date of purchase. After which time you will loose access to all previous downloads, updates and premium support.
If you have purchased a lifetime license then your license is effectively for a lifetime. In the license system I have set this to 99 years, but that is more than a lifetime according to the average life span for a human.
This is really up to you. So long as your web hosting is designed and configured to handle a big traffic site. Then our products will also hold up. We have customers running very high traffic sites with thousands of products, vendors and orders.
As we provide a complete front end dashboard it isn’t possible to automatically provide support for all WooCommerce extensions. This will mean some custom programming will ned to be completed to integrate the plugin of choice with Pro. A lot of the times all that is required is adding the custom meta fields on the front end. For more complex integrations we are always looking to create new integrations for our users. Please check our extensions page to see what integrations we have available.
We are unable to provide support or customisation beyond the features and functions already built into WC Vendors. If you require further customisation such as changing anything within WC Vendors via actions or filters, then you will need to do this your self or hire a developer. We do however provide documentation on how to use our actions and filters with example code to get you started. If you can’t find what you are looking for please ask and we’ll be happy help.
No a lifetime license cannot be transferred to another party. A license is linked to the email that purchased the product. If you are doing development for a customer, please ensure that your customer buys the license.

No, we only provide support for our products and current features.
Yes! If you would like to upgrade to a lifetime license within the first 30 days of your purchase we’ll credit you annual price towards your lifetime purchase. Just contact support and we’ll get you upgraded! This is not valid during promotions or if your annual license was bought on promotion.
Vendors can list simple, grouped, variable or downloadable products.
You can use whatever payment gateway you choose for processing payments between the marketplace and your customers. So long as the payment gateway is supported by WooCommerce then you can use it.
A vendor is someone that registers on your marketplace to sell products. They maintain and manage their own products and can confirm shipping of orders. In pro they also have the ability to manage coupons, their complete store branding, shipping, ratings and more.
To allow vendors to automatically receive their commissions you will need to use one of our commission gateways. We currently provide Paypal and Stripe extensions to handle automatic payments to vendors.

We rely on the community to provide any translations that are included in the products. All of our products are fully translatable which allows you to translate the plugin into whatever language you require. We support all language types including RTL. Please see our documentation on translating.
Yes, with our WooCommerce Bookings Extension its possible to allow vendors to sell booking products in Pro.
No, currently vendors cannot sell subscription products. We are working to release a subscription extension and will announce it when its ready.
You will need our pro product to allow vendors to control their shipping. We have created a complete flat rate shipping and table rate shipping module to use with WC Vendors. Please see our documentation here.
Please note that in built WooCommerce shipping zones are currently not supported.
Yes. We provide predefined templates for all front end forms. There are two ways you can customise the forms. You can either disable fields from the WordPress admin or you can modify the templates to remove fields you don’t require or change the layout as you see fit. Please see our form documentation for further information.
Yes, by default all products published by a vendor must be approved by the marketplace admin. This will allow you to check all aspects of the product before publishing.
Refunds are currently not supported on the front end for vendors at this time. We are working on a new order management system to allow this.
