    Hello,

I just installed/configured WC Vendors and so far it’s doing everything I need it to (thank you for that, btw), however I’m also using the Offers for WooCommerce plug-in and currently the Vendors have read/write access to all existing offers, rather than being restricted to offers that only relate to products they themselves created. So for example if Tom, Dick, and Harry are all vendors, Tom can see all of his offers, but he can also see – and manage – all of Dick and Harry’s offers as well (and that’s no bueno). For what it’s worth I also have the User Role Editor plug-in installed (and have been trying to use it to fix the problem), but so far it’s not having any effect.

So whaddaya think? Any ideas for how one might be able to tweak the Vendor role, such that individual vendors can only see their own offers?

    Many thanks in advance!

Wow! That’s pretty funny actually. Unfortunately, no fix from us can happen for this. That’s because it’s not WC Vendors who is showing you that data, it’s the offers plugin. What you will want to do is ask the Offers plugin author for a way to restrict offers to only products owned by the current logged in user. e.g., if I am a vendor, my username is ben, and my user ID is #5, the offers plugin should only show me offers related to products with post_author = 5. It should be a rather easy thing for them to code in. User Role Editor wont fix the problem, as it’s 99.9% certainly going to require a couple lines of code in the offers plugin, rather than being a permissions issue.

Glad you’re getting good use of WC Vendors on your site. Have fun.
