    1. I’ve placed some orders with Stripe in test mode. Vendor commission is set at 90.091. The shop price is the Vendor’s original price plus 10% I assume that means that the vendors should get their original price less fees and I should receive my 10% “addition” as an application fee. When I go to the Stripe dashboard it looks like the fees went directly into my account with nothing going into the test connected vendor account. The collected fees section of Stripe Dashboard shows no application fees were collected.

    2. In addition, I set up a test account for a vendor. After hitting the connect to Stripe button from the dashboard for that vendor while in the Stripe API test mode, there is a link at the top of the Stripe-hosted page to skip the account set up. I hit that link one time. Now if I try to connect any newly added vendors, the I am immediately redirected back to my site’s My Account page where it says “Success! Your account has been connected with Stripe.” without showing the Stripe account entry page. This results in a test connected account with no charges or transfers enabled and no ability to delete or edit it.

    3. I can only access the Connect with Stripe button from the WordPress login page at http://www.mysitename.org/login/. The button does not appear in the vendor dashboard accessed from my site. Changing to Storefront theme gives the same result.

    I was able to get around issues 2 & 3.

    2. Deactivating and reactivating Stripe Commissions & Gateway plugin got me back to the Stripe “start accepting payments with Stripe” entry form.

    3. Was a CSS issue fixed with:

    div.wcv_stripe_connect_container > a {
        height: 33px;
        width: 190px;
        visibility: visible;
    }

    Does the plugin or Stripe not support the ability to create development connected accounts? If not what is the recommended way to test that commissions are working properly?

    Clive,
    Yes, you can create a test environment for Stripe Connect.
    It involves having your test keys and test client ID’s entered, and the test mode being enabled in your Stripe dashboard as well. If you change from Test to Live, be sure you do it on Stripe.com -and- in the WooCommerce Stripe Gateway Settings, as the settings must match on both sites.
    Have you read through the documentation we have for the set-up of this plugin?
    https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/stripe-commissions-gateway-setup/

    If you have more questions, I will be glad to try to help. If you need to share screenshots that have sensitive information, you can do so in a private reply.
    I cannot configure your Stripe.com settings, but I can do what I can to help ensure you have your WC Vendor/WooCommerce settings correct for use with this Stripe Connect Commissions & Gateway for WC Vendors

    Hi Anne,

    I already did that. My question pertains to the test vendor accounts that can be set up in Stripe. It seems like Stripe Commissions & Gateway does not support connection of Stripe test accounts.

    I have already purchased the plugin. Is that what the link in your message was intended for?

    No, I was linking to the documentation so you could follow the set-up instructions for the test accounts. There is not much- but you need to ensure that your Stripe and your woocommerce are both in test mode.

    You absolutely CAN enable testing with Stripe and the WC Vendors Stripe Connect. You have both test keys and client dev keys, and settings to set in test mode.

    That’s also why I encouraged you to send screen shots if needed (any sensitive info can be blurred/blocked out in the images, and you can set a private reply) to try and help you get everything arranged properly for testing.
