    Anna, I just submitted my application and had an error.

    It seems a test user and password IS required.

    Can you confirm if this is a customer or vendor test account?

    Hi Anna

    Just wondered if you had any further thoughts on my problem?

    If my vendors can’t add their own attribute terms, my whole site falls apart and the plugin is completely redundant. I simply can’t guess every possible attribute term that my vendor may want to use.

    I’m sure this is something you have working and all your customers are using your plugin with this functionality.

    I imagine there is a simple fix but at the moment this is holding up movement on other development work – I don’t want to invest in further dev until this is fixed as it is fundamental.

    I hadn’t realised there was a pro setting to allow the vendor to create terms.

    I followed the steps above but STILL there are no variations being created.

    In the attributes tabs I selected ‘Size’ from my attributes menu the entered text for some terms ‘Small | Medium | Large’.

    Then on the variations tab I selected ‘Created Variations from attributes’ and hit go. I got a dialog box etc but the the result was ‘0’ variations created.

    I ended up with ‘Default Form Values’ being added under the selector – does that sound at all familiar?

    The key difference I noticed in your gif is when it comes to adding the options within each attribute. In your gif, after selecting colour as the attribute type, there is a dropdown of several colour options – where does this come from?

    I have no dropdown menu of choices. I’m guessing these were created as a select list in the wp back-end?

    In my wp admin back-end, when I created my ‘Colour’ attribute, I selected ‘text’ rather than select. This seems logical as I cannot possibly guess all of the colour combinations my vendors may wish to use.

    I’m guessing the issue I’m having is related to the text entry possibly.

    Following the placeholder prompts, I entered one colour separated by a | and followed by another color etc.

    After doing this, when I select create variations from attributes, it generates 0 results.

    Let me know if I’m missing something glaringly obvious. I’m sure this is an error at my end and you guys have all this figured out.

    Being able to at least add a class here and there would be useful.

    A specific use springs to mind: How would I for example add a class or two to the div that contains the date picker and export orders button under the orders tab?

    Hi Jamie

    Good to know.

    I was just trying to quickly apply styles already created for other menus on my site. Changing ‘menu horizontal black’ to ‘my-dash-nav’ is a fast way of applying the styles.

    Are you saying the styles in wcv shouldn’t be changed or just the names of classes shouldn’t change?

    Many thanks Ben. All fixed – you guessed correctly – I was previously looking at WC Marketplace too which must have caused the problem.
