Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) lets you add your own fields to WordPress content without writing code. In a WooCommerce store, that usually means extra product details like materials, dimensions, care instructions, or anything else your product types need.
WC Vendors Pro has built-in ACF support, so your vendors can fill in those fields themselves. Every ACF field group whose location rules target products appears as its own tab in the WC Vendors Pro product editor on the vendor dashboard, labelled with the field group’s title. Vendors see the values already saved on the product, edit them alongside the standard product details, and their changes are saved through ACF when they save the product.
Key features for your marketplace
- Vendor-managed product fields: vendors enter your custom product data from their own dashboard, so you don’t have to add it for them in wp-admin.
- One tab per field group: each ACF product field group gets its own tab in the product editor, keeping long forms organised.
- Native ACF fields: fields are rendered and saved by ACF itself, so they behave the same way they do in wp-admin.
- No extra add-on: the integration switches on automatically once ACF is active and at least one field group targets products.
The integration is part of WC Vendors Pro 2.0.6 and later. It only covers field groups assigned to products, and it isn’t available in the free WC Vendors Marketplace plugin. ACF is free on WordPress.org, and ACF PRO works too.
