Occasionally the WordPress update will not notify you when an update is available, and in those cases you may need to manually update one of your WC Vendors plugins.
Here is a quick step-by-step process explaining how to safely manually update your plugin(s):
To manually update your plugins please follow these steps.
Always make a backup of your site before doing these procedures.
- Download the latest version of the plugin you require from your account here: https://www.wcvendors.com/my-account/downloads
- Go to WordPress Admin > Plugins and click “Add New“
- Click on the upload button
- Navigate to the plugin zip file you downloaded from your my-account page
- Select this file and click upload
- WordPress will detect that you are updating and ask you to update
- Select update and you have successfully manually updated
Need an earlier version instead?
The Downloads section always gives you the latest release. If you need a specific earlier version of your premium WC Vendors plugins, like WC Vendors Pro, contact our support team and tell us the exact version number you need, and we will send you that version.
Using the free WC Vendors Marketplace plugin? You can grab an earlier release yourself from WordPress.org. Open the WC Vendors Marketplace plugin page, click Advanced View at the bottom, and choose the version you want under Previous Versions. The free WP Rollback plugin can also roll it back from your Plugins screen.
Once you have the file, back up your site, then install it from Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Upload the ZIP and choose Replace current with uploaded. To stop the plugin updating back to the newest release, click Disable auto-updates next to it on your Plugins screen.
