Big THANK YOU Anna, that worked, I did it manually, and it’s ok now..!

You know, reading all the comment you get on your plate sometimes… you know I really didn’t want to take out on you or Ben, but when things don’t work, you can get frantic. And I guess a lot of people react in their franticness… if I were a little more savvy, I would like to help, but I have to learn coding before…

I do agree with Manoel, that people selling software ion WordPress should not be vague about the message that the license is only for 1 year. You have to tell this upfront. We have the right to know.

My old licence only works untill the 25 th . of this month. after that I would like to have my new license working… I’ve tried everything…

    can you help me out?

    hi,

I’ve also add a screenshot of the Buddyboss theme, where they sell the theme for a discount if you buy 5 pieces. Not that you are Buddyboss, your are Woocommerce but maybe Woo could make an offer in the future for this. Because I was planning to buy more than one download. Now I have to wait a certain time untill I have enough money…

    cheers,

    Andrew.

thank you, I just bought WCVendor Pro again. But is there a way to integrate it smoothly so that I don’t have to change the settings?

    hi Anna,

thank you for your respons! At the moment miracilously the pages re-apeared. I have to say something about WordPress. Everybody is screaming wow and AAAh about how wonderful WordPress is. I have several websites, I have two more webshops, and they are just rocksteady, robust, they work All the time. This story is not about WC Vendors but about WordPress so don’t take it personally, please. In wordpress if you install a wrong plug-in, the whole site dissapeares, and many other issues. On my other sites and shops, which includes a HTML site and a webshop frm a certain firm, well, they just work, I log in and bingo. I personally think WordPress still has a very long way to go before it gets stable and deliveres to clients what they need: a stable environment.
Mu comment was not about WC Vendors with wich I am still very happy and will continue to use…

    best regards,

    Andrew.

    hi Anna,

no worries to you this time. I found it out how it works. I pressed: ‘add shipping zone’and then gave it a name in the left box: Netherlands to 2 kilogram, and searched in the second box for a region: the Netherlands,I found the region and then saved the it without filling in the shipping method. When I saved it I could press next to the third box on the ‘+’ sign. Then I could add a shipping method. I will work this out further and keep you informed.

Here in Holland at the postoffice I collected a folder with all the different shipping costs per zone and weight. So I can fill them in. I’ll keep you informed.

    cheers,

    Andrew.

    hi Anna,

just for test I unchecked the stand-alone option to see if I could set up shipping rates for within the Netherlands. But still there are no shipping zones possible for the Netherlands. I also have other webshops: from Ewid and from Lightspeed, but the allow a very precise set-up for each country.
This has a lot to do with weight. so there is up to 2 kilogr. / up to 5 kilo / up to 10 kilo / 20 kilo and 30 kilo each a different rate. the in Europe there are three Eurozones. In each Eurozone there are other countries of Europe. Then there is the rest of the world. So there is zones and weight.
then there is secure shipping and insured shipping.
Normally I can choose my own shipping company.
But I see none of these options here. If i cannot set-up shipping rates very precisely this means that I might end up paying all the shipping costs from the profit of my selling a product. Or the customer pays to much.

my question is: please look to other webstores how they set it up. My vendors will come from the Netherlands and will send to the Netherlands but there is currently no shipping option.

hope you have the patience to find things out…

    blessings,

    Andrew.

    hi Anna,

yes, as a stand alone method. I believe this does right to the vendors the best way. I include a screenshot.
I believe now I don’t have to set up any ‘Product Cost Nationally’is that correct? because I best allow very vendor to set up their own rates, so I’ll better remove that. I’ll watch the tutorial you sent me,

    thanks…

    Andrew.

    hi Anna,

I am beginning to undersstand how complex this can be. I thought that i had to set up shipping zones from my point of shippng: the Netherlands, but what if there come other vendorsfrom other countries, let’s say one in russia or africa. They will have to set it up from their shipping zones and rates. So it is a complex matter. What if I have a hundred vendors or more? how does this work? Each one their own shipping zones and rates I guess….
What will i have to instruct the vendors with?
I understand it is no use if I set it up only from the Netherlands… Vendors may live everywhere.

hope we can work this out… 🙂

    patience my dear,

    Andrew.

    Hi Ana,

I too am a little bit surpised. I understand the one year support and updates renewal, but as I understood it i thought at least the license itself is my lifetime purchase,

    Hi Anna,

thank you! And I must apologize for my frantic behaviour sometimes. When things go wrong I go in the panic mode first. Thaen I write a frantic email. than I try to solve it myself and sometimes I succeed that.
But fact is this: I’ve worked for 5 years on this new business plan. A lot of people helped me with it. A lot depends on it. I am building a marketplace for artists. I just have to succeed.
It is my way to serve people and society, so I have to make it work. So I do need help from time to time in the beginning. I hope that when there is something that I can find some help here. When I become more accustomed I can help others too.,

    My site is: dominodesign.org

it is only in the beginning stages. Maybe sometimes you could visit it and provide some constructive comments?

    thanks,

    cheers, Andrew.

The case is already resolved. But as a customer you get plugins and themes from different resources and sometimes you just don’t know where to get advice. It seems that the ‘Buddy Press re-order plugin’ disturbed everything. As long as I don’t install that it is oke. Should have gone to Buddy Press so apologies for my frantic message.

    cheers, Andrew.

    hi Pousis,

thank you for your fast reply. But when I bought WC Vendor Pro, there didn’t come any download file or plug in to download. Just the API-key. My question is: can I get the plug-inof WC Vendor Pro somewhere? I already have the WC Vendor Free installed. 🙂

thanks in advance and cheers :-),

    hi Ben,

thank you! yes I saw that. Forgive me in my Neanderthaler reality, but I thought: maybe there comes some zip file to download. But it is the only thing needed to upgrade: the API-key.?
I have no clue what do what to do with it or where to put it. Where must I place the API key? 🙂

And thanks for your PS, I didn’t think about it before… 🙂

    cheers, Andrew.

    hi Ben,

just very happy to have found that Mollie also has a plug-in for WooCommerce! I’ve downloaded the plug-in and installed it already, now it is up to Mollie to approve it. So, I am very glad that my WordPress/WooCommerce/Social Marketplace will have Ideal on it!! Super Delicious!

    hi Ben,

thank you for your reply. A PSP means: Payment Service Provider. 🙂 This is the firm that provides the gateways indeed for all different kinds of online payments. The one I mentioned ‘Mollie’ is a smaller firm that mainly operates in Holland. It is important that PSP firms know the names and services of the firms that provide shopping carts, so the service can be provided.
I once had to apply for a shopping cart of Ecwid. but the PSP didn’t know Ecwid. So they had to turn the house upside down before the gateway was provided. PSP’s are allways very demanding because of legal issues and stuff.
I would like to work with Mollie because they’ve already accepted me.:-)

    Cheers

    Hi Ben,

thank you very much for your respons. I did succeed from raising from the Neandertahler level by installing WooCommerce and then became Homo Sapiens by installing WC Vendors Free! Now looking forward to raising myself up from the hunting and collecting berries level to the agricultural level by buying WC VEndor Pro.
Yet I would like to know if I can choose my own PSP in Holland, this is not quite clear to me. I must have Ideal as provided by Mollie https://www.mollie.com/nl/ as I will be having a lot of Dutch Vendors. In Holland everyone works with Ideal. Creditcards is much more something of America. Do you know more about this? Otherwise I won’t be able to buy Vendors Pro and Social Marketplace. It is critical to me. (I am sorry).

looking forward to becoming a true Kelt,

    cheers,

    Andrew.
