Hi Anna,
Thank you for guiding me in the right direction. It was actually in the WCVendors Pro settings > Allow HTML in Inputs Allow vendors to add html source to the inputs and text areas on forms. The box wasn’t checked.
It works now 🙂Thanks for your help!

March 22, 2016 at 5:48 pm in reply to: Vendors who sell products produced by an external site like Amazon #27630LoretteParticipantThanks for your quick reply. I thought I had a great plan-dang.
LoretteParticipantBen,
I am using OneSocial. They are not as quick to respond as you are. I am still waiting for an answer to a question regarding their image settings for the cover image (lots of others are having issues with it too). I will add this question to the list. Over all it is a good theme but there are a few glitches. Thanks for being the best at supporting your product. It really make a difference in customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Best,
LoretteLoretteParticipantPS I did check the box to hide Social in settings form tab
LoretteParticipantThanks Ben. I was worried it was a theme issue and have played with going with a storefront child theme for awhile. I hate to have incurred the expense of Marketica if I am not going to use is-there are some pretty cool features. But storefront is a woo theme and the one you guys test on so it may cause me fewer headaches in the future if I switch themes before there are a lot of vendors on my site.
Do you have a storefront child theme you like?
Thanks,
Lorette
LoretteParticipantHmmm, those are the slugs that are set for free and pro. Here is another vendor and their slug is vendor_stores as was grannys attic.
LoretteParticipantYes, I accidentally sent two of the first screenshot. Here is the screenshot of what a customer sees when clicking on the vendor’s shop.
And Wow-thanks for the quick response.
I hope you and your family can enjoy a lovely New Years Eve and Day 🙂
LoretteParticipantscreenshot 3 of what it looks like after a banner image was selected. Notice no link is showing up even after selected and saved.
LoretteParticipantSorry-trying to figure out sending screenshots. The two above are duplicates. I will sent screen shot 2 and 3 next.
LoretteParticipantHi Ben,
1. First picture is what a vendor sees when he opens “view shop” on his vendor dashboard. Notice the grayed box.
2. Second picture is what a customer sees when he clicks on the same vendor’s shop page. Notice that the vendor’s selected banner and icon are replaced by an orange banner.
3. Finally, when a vendor enters a shop banner under settings/store-nothing seems to happen. Initially you can select a picture but it doesn’t show up anywhere and it doesn’t save. The only way the banner and icon are added seem to be under settings/branding.
Thanks for your help.

LoretteParticipantLoretteParticipantMy log in info for the above vendor is
user boothlg
pass KAGjCZ1saWWrcT1HB)nTqZnVLoretteParticipantThanks Ben. It will work 🙂
LoretteParticipantPerfect. Thanks!
LoretteParticipanthmmm I am logged in as a “vendor” and I don’t see that option.
Also, can you answer the question I asked on this tread? I want to know how a vendor should add their shipping rates. Under each product>shipping or under settings>shipping. There are options for both and I want to be able to explain it accurately to my vendors.
Thanks,
Lorette
LoretteParticipantWhere in the vendor’s shop set up is the QTY override?
LoretteParticipantBen,
Thanks so much!
Your son is adorable 🙂

LoretteParticipantThank you Ben-I will be purchasing it 🙂
Sometimes it gets
muddled as to what plugin/theme/or process is responsible lol. Thanks for the direction and your quick response.LoretteParticipantThanks Ben for your quick response.
I did go ahead and fill out the PayPal app per your link above. I was approved conditionally.I appreciate that WC Vendors is a free plugin. Although I would pay for a Pro version if it made this whole process easier. Setting up shipping and taxes is complicated especially since I am creating a multi-vendor site. It would be nice if someone designs a process that is more frontend user friendly for the vendors.
When I used the WC Vendors Test Gateway I was able to receive a “payment” But when I try an actually order I get the following errors.
Error ID: 579040. Receiver PayPal accounts must be unique. (I get this cause I used the same paypal email for sender and receiver)I researched the following error. On your forum you say Parallel Payments need to be activated. Where can I see whether it is?
Error ID: 580022. Invalid request parameter: payKey cannot be null
It is hard to know if an issue is woocommerce, wc vendors or PayPal….Thank you if you can point me in the right direction. I think I am close to getting this site launched…
LoretteParticipantI’m confused regarding PayPal app. WC Vendor says they do not support chained payments but this thread says to put primary and secondary receivers under chained payment. I am in the process of trying to fill out my app and I am unclear about this part.
Also, wondering about paypal fees. It says only chained payments can be set up to charge only the secondary receiver, which is what I wanted to do since I am taking a tiny commission. But I want payments to both receivers to be instant.
Thanks for your help.
