    Hi Anna,

My vendors have been complaining about this for a while too. Think it might be my/our Kleo theme. Can you test on yours to see if it’s affecting you too? (I only use Linked products).

We either get the circle of death or this:

    Thanks,

    Thanks Anna 🙂

If Jamie has a fix before the next release I’d love a bit of code so I can fix it – as desperate to get my registration a one stage process instead of a 2 stage one like I have it now (they currently only complete the first STORE TAB. I then approve them as a vendor so they can complete their shop settings). But I lose tonnes of Vendors between the two processes. I have a couple of hundred vendors who didn’t move onto stage 2 of the registration process. But it’s a lot of work reading all Vendor applicants stories, correcting their spellings and grammar, then contacting them to complete the next stage, if they then don’t complete their shops.

    Many thanks,

    Karen

Hi Anna, thanks for letting me email it to you 🙂

You’ll also notice that the extra shipping options (eg Maximum Order Charge) don’t display.
You’ll notice I unhid them in wp-admin but they also didn’t display on the sign up form.

I’m not as worried about those though but desperately need the returns policy as it’s a legal requirement when selling online in the UK.

    Many thanks,

    Karen

By the way I have copied a new template for the sign up form to ensure I had the latest version.

I think this is why the returns policy doesn’t display….

Sign up form only contains this code:

Whereas the Settings form contains all this code:

    Returns Policy – Legal Requirement

    I best just add…
When product has been deleted by the vendor, the Product Name still appears on the order in wp-admin, it just doesn’t appear in the Vendors Order Tab.

    Hiya Anna,

From looking through lots of orders it appears that the product name disappears and the shipping turns to N/A in the Vendors ORDERS tab when:

    a) The vendor has deleted the product after it’s purchased
    OR
    b) The product has price variations

Here are examples from just 2 Vendors orders where this occurred (but it’s happening for most vendors):

    Joanna Hall, Catching Dreams Crafts
    74845 – price variation
    74625 – price variation
    62577 – product deleted
    61267 – product deleted
    41158 – product deleted
    40103 – product deleted

    Tracey Bolton, Transform-a-Mug
    48010 – product deleted
    42060 – product deleted
    41168 – product deleted
    41006 – product deleted
    39748 – product deleted
    36315 – product deleted
    35528 – product deleted
    34181 – product deleted
    32415 – product deleted
    32386 – product deleted

You’re welcome to have a nose in my admin screens.

So yes just need to figure out why both @MALAVIKA-PRAV and I are having our menu’s/footer messed with in the Search Results page on our themes.

The query string link only doesn’t work when added to the Product Description. Vendors always surprise me with how they use things!

I don’t use commission on my site so at least that takes one complexity away, but really hope we can find a working solution for us all soon to allow our overseas vendors to enter prices in their own currencies. Otherwise I’m going to need to start from scratch and create additional websites for USA and Europe 🙁

I’m currently using WooCommerce Currency Switcher by realmag777 to display prices on the front end in different currencies for customers (so I’m guessing that was one of those ‘authors’ you mentioned @aelia!)

For anyone interested in @Aelia’s plugin here’s the link:

I know you said you don’t write integrations from your side due to maintenance expense, but are you open to bribes @Aelia 😉

Thanks Anna, I used your code to get the Vendor new order emails sent to me by the way. Only started using that code recently with the new order emails sometimes not being sent, but it’s been super handy.

So I don’t know whether it’s always been like this and I’ve only just noticed because I’ve been getting a copy of the vendor email.

Hi both, this might be old info but…
The schedule sale hasn’t worked in years. Ben said it was a woocommerce bug, I’ve not looked into this for some time but there were tonnes of people complaining to woocommerce on their forum about the schedule sale not taking things off sale after the end date.

Just done a quick search and just one day ago someone was saying why woocommerce STILL hasn’t fixed this:

    Hiya,

I reported the error to Kleo and they have confirmed that there is some sort of conflict with the redirect code.

    Here’s there response:

    Hi Karen,

I have looked over the code supplied by WC Vendors, both here and via their site, the code looks fine but it does appear to have some issues with other content. I tried a few methods and I found a simple, light-weight and compatible solution to your issue.

In the WordPress repository you’ll find a plugin called Peter’s Login Redirect https://wordpress.org/plugins/peters-login-redirect/, It allows you to create login and logout redirects for multiple conditons, including by user role, this will work with kleo modal login, wp-admin and wp-login. You can select the option to redirect user role (vendor) on login. Let me know if this helps.

The safest route with the php error log is to delete the contents of the file and not the file itself. If it was to be deleted it should just be created again, but that could change on a host by host basis so it’s best to leave the file intact.

    Kieran.

So I’m going to attempt to use that! Wish me luck!

Hiya sorry just seen this as not getting email notifications of replies anymore for some reason.

I’ve never deleted an order. I’ve also not reversed commissions either. I’ve always refunded vendors or customers via paypal so totally separate to WCVendors.

    Also getting these:

Hi Nan Sun, I don’t think there’s any code to only display ‘verified’ vendors. I think that might just be a label.

The way I run my site is all new vendor registrations are assigned the role of ‘Pending Vendor’ and then I manually approve by changing the role to ‘vendor’. That way, only vendors I know I have approved will appear on my site 🙂

But someone else might be able to let you know if they are using Verified Vendors to display only those vendors 🙂

Oh by the way @CLOTHPADSHOP for the ones where vendors have confirmed they received the paypal payment, I have changed the status on the order in wp-admin from Cancelled to Processing. That then puts their order into their vendor dashboard. I check whether the item needs stock reduced too and update the product if so. I then manually adjust the Cancelled order email I received to say ‘thank you for your order’ and email to the customer and also the vendor. So much faff! Exhausted after today.

Let’s hope the techy fairies sort this overnight!

Might be worth you reporting this with Paypal via here:

Oooh that’s weird, I don’t see a time or date just under the order number in my wp-admin for recent cancelled orders or previous cancelled orders. I only see the date and time there for processed orders.

My time for the Order Date and Order Note are the same (both 54 mins past the hour)
Previous cancelled orders also have matching times (but NOT 54 mins past the hour)

So we maybe having different issues possibly?

@CLOTHPADSHOP I’ve had exactly that today too with cancelled orders! Payment has gone through paypal, but status is Cancelled, so the customer, vendor or I didn’t receive the order confirmation email.

Can you check if the cancelled orders were at 54 mins past the hour? All mine have been – not sure if it’s a coincidence or not!

Do you use Paypal Adaptive Payments? I have reported the issue to Paypal Developer Technical Support and also reported in our WCVendors forum too:

Yes might be a different issue Garry. Thanks for posting here though.

I do think that Paypal might of changed their Paypal Adaptive Payments code for it to suddenly start cancelling orders. Started last night.

    Anna,
I have no idea where the money has gone! I don’t touch the money at all these days, 100% goes straight to the vendors Paypal account immediately (or should do!)

I’m actually considering putting my site in maintenance mode as this could have a huge impact on customer experience, vendor opinion and bankrupt me if I need to refund customers with money I’ve never received!

I know this isn’t a WCVendors issue and sorry for posting here, but I wanted to see if any other site owners where having the same issue. I’ve not updated or changed anything at all so the fact it’s suddenly happening points to Paypal. I’m desperately trying to find a way to raise a support ticket with them like I have previously but their site is sending me in loops to avoid people raising tickets!

    🙁

I’ve found a match of a vendor and customer where the payment is showing in both their paypal accounts. So I’ve marked that order in wp-admin as processing, so that it would appear in the orders tab in the vendor dashboard. I then manually sent them both the order confirmation email (by amending the cancelled order email).

But the other customers say they didn’t cancel and the payment has been taken from their paypal – but the vendor hasn’t received in their paypal account.

    Panicing muchly!

We’ve had two orders come through fine (plus the ones I tested where Paypal forced me to enter a code)

But the others have come through as cancelled with this note in wp-admin:
Unpaid order cancelled – time limit reached. Order status changed from Pending Payment to Cancelled.

When I’ve contacted the customers who had the cancelled orders they told me they didn’t cancel their order and they paypal account is showing that the payment has been taken, some vendors have received the money others haven’t!

    I’m totally confused!

Hi there just seeing if there’s any progress on this one.

I have gone through half my Facebook friends list and currently found over 100 applicants who were signed up as CUSTOMERS due to not realising they needed to fill in the vendor sign up form after the my-account registration form.

I only started using the Vendor Sign Up form a few months ago. Looks like I’m losing tonnes of Vendors 🙁
