How Do I Retrieve My License Keys?

How to Manage Your WC Vendors License Keys and Account Settings

Managing your WC Vendors plugin license is easy and convenient through the Downloads section in your My Account area on our website. This dedicated area allows you to quickly access and manage all your active WC Vendors licenses.

Retrieve Your License Keys Anytime

You can retrieve your WC Vendors license keys at any time from the Downloads page. This section displays:

  • All active licenses are tied to your account
  • License key expiry dates
  • A list of websites currently using your license
  • Subscription information
  • Access to plugin changelogs and more

This ensures that you’re always up to date with the latest plugin versions and features.

Activate Your License on All Sites – Including Staging Sites

To use WC Vendors on your WooCommerce store, a valid and non-expired license key must be activated on every website where the plugin is installed. This includes live websites, staging environments, and development sites. An active license is required to:

  • Receive automatic plugin updates
  • Access premium support
  • Unlock all features of your purchased plugin

Without an active license key, you won’t be able to download updates or receive assistance from our support team.

What Happens If Your License Goes Missing or Expires?

WC Vendors Pro monitors your license status daily. If a valid key isn’t detected, it starts a grace period before anything is locked down.

Days 0–1 — soft warning: A blue info notice appears in your WP Admin: “Did you forget to enter your WC Vendors Pro license key?” You can dismiss it for 24 hours or click Enter License Key to fix it straight away. Nothing else changes on your site.

Days 2–6 — urgent warning: The notice turns red: “Action required! Enter your WC Vendors Pro license key to continue.” Your vendors, orders, and all premium features are still fully operational — only the banner changes.

Day 7+ — locked: A full-page interstitial blocks access to WC Vendors Pro admin pages (Settings, Dashboard, All Vendors, Commissions, Reports, and more). Your vendor marketplace front end keeps running normally — vendors can still sell and customers see no change. Admin access is restored as soon as you enter a valid license.

Other license states show their own notices straight away, even before the grace period kicks in:

  • Expiring soon: Yellow warning — “Your WC Vendors Pro license is expiring soon.” Renew to keep automatic updates and priority support.
  • Expired: Red error — “Your WC Vendors Pro license has expired.” Your vendors and orders are safe and premium features keep working, but renewing restores automatic updates and priority support.
  • Disabled: Red error — “Your WC Vendors Pro license has been disabled.” Contact WC Vendors support or purchase a new license to re-enable updates.

To clear any of these notices, go to WC Vendors Pro → License Settings and enter your valid license key. If you’ve already entered your key but the notice persists, click I already entered my license – refresh status on the lock screen to trigger an immediate recheck.

Managing Email Addresses on Your Account

If you need to update the email address associated with your WC Vendors account, please contact our Support team directly. While you’re able to change your login email on your end, the activation email (used to validate and display plugin licenses) must be updated by our team.

⚠️ Important: If your login email and activation email are different, you may encounter issues accessing your plugin files or license details in your account. If you experience this, please submit a support request for assistance.

Stay in Control of Your WC Vendors Plugin Licenses

Whether you’re managing one site or multiple client stores, our account dashboard gives you full control over your WC Vendors plugin licenses. You can:

  • Remove licenses from old or inactive sites
  • Reassign licenses to new domains
  • View plugin changelogs before updating
  • Manage your subscription billing details

By keeping your licenses active and account information updated, you ensure uninterrupted access to the latest features, performance improvements, and expert support from the WC Vendors team.
