We already do provide the vendor sold by link for the WooCommerce product loop– perhaps your theme is adding info to that area using the same hook…
To remove the product category form that region you will need to ask them what hook they are using.. also, if you use the plugin Simply Show Hooks you should be able to see which hook these various functions are using so you can alter them.
We use woocommerce_after_shop_loop_item hook for our sold by in the loop page.
