Thanks for testing Anna. Yes I’ve tested myself lots of times because I’m trying to understand why about half of the vendor applications are coming through as customer accounts even though they tell me they tucked the ‘apply to be a vendor’ box.
I think what’s happening is this:
User applies to be a vendor via my-account sign up form.
User ticks ‘apply to be a vendor’ box and t&c’s.
User role is customer UNTIL user completes the vendor sign up form and clicks the Save button.
Uses role is then changed to pending vendor.
However If they have chosen to tick ‘apply to be a vendor’ then they want to apply to be a vendor. Could they be assigned the role of pending vendor (or vendor for marketplaces that don’t approve theirs first). That way I’d stop losing vendor applications that are marked as customers.
