1. As for the theme– you should just be able to upload the new version released by the flatsome authors.

however, this likely has nothing to do with your email issue. It will affect your site in other ways, though if they are not updated.
May I ask why they are being updated by someone at freelancer rather than by uploading the latest version on flatsome? Did you have custom work done on the theme?
I’ve never had Postman SMTP request anything about mandrill.. at all. All it normally does is ensure your email is configured properly. That’s weird..

You can try some of those. i am sorry to hear that about Postman SMTP. I use it on my own site ( I had email issues also) and it works just fine and they did not ask me to open a mandrill account.
Have you tried deactivating this plugin to see if it is interfering with the emails submission? Just a thought..
