NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

    Hi Anna,

    I would like to make the following changes to our WC Vendors Pro installation:

    1. Display all attribute dropdown selections in a similar way to category or color dropdown selection on product upload page (frontend), to make it more user friendly for vendors. Currently they have to click the attribute tab, select attribute one by one and select their value.

    2. Allow vendors to enter their bank details in the payment section of their store settings. Paypal does not work in our country unfortunately. These details will be accessible to the site admins/managers only.

    3. Hide or disable vendor shops (and all links to vendor shops on frontend). Currently vendor products display on their buddypress member profile page in our theme which is good enough for us. We do not want additional stores for vendors as it adds confusion.

    1. I have seen this request a few times lately- as of yet I have not worked out a good way to display the attributes differently due to the js that is used in showing them; however, I will work on this again.

    2. This can be done by adding in fields to the store settings. See these instructions here:

    3. You’d have to disable the sold by links.. https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/removing-sold-by-on-your-site/ or change them to lead to the profile pages instead. You’d have to remove the actions and create new ones.
    It might also be an option to ask buddyboss how to remove the products from the buddypress profile and use stores instead..

    1. Is there a timeline for this? We are looking to launch our new site in the next 2-3 weeks

    2. Would it be possible for you to do this for me? I don’t have any coding experience. Fields needed would be:

    Bank Name
    Branch Address
    Account Title
    Account Number

    3. I have given it some thought and feel disabling stores would be a more suitable option for us. Buddyboss will take care of this.
