NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

As of August 31, 2017 (12am EST) our support forums will be retired (read-only), and we will be moving to a support ticket system.  This will allow us to better organize and answer support requests, and provide a more personalized experience as we assist our customers.

    Hi wc-vendors. Love the plugin and works very well. I had a question about auctions:

    I’ve listed an item up for auction and it ends. How can I relist the item? It seems to be permanently removed from my dashboard. Is this a setting and something I can fix?

    I would like the users to be able to relist very easily and not have to create a new product all over again.

    After the auction ends, is it removed entirely? Is it visible at all int he vendor’s products list in the pro dashboard?
    I know that the re-list function is not yet worked into the front-end forms…until we have time to work again on the Auction integration plugin I am looking to see if we can find a work-around. If the product is still appearing int he vendor’s dashboard under Products, you could do a duplicate product listing..

    The issue I have is: Let’s say you are the winning bid. Auction end and the item is removed how does the checkout process work if the item is removed entirely?

    Does it do this with stuff you add in wp-admin, or ONLY AUCTIONS added ONLY WITH THE PRO DASHBOARD?

    We only add items from the pro dashboard.

    That was not my question. 😉

    My question is asked to figure out “is it them or us”. Test with something in wp-admin with an auction added from wp-admin by you, the admin. See if it works as expected.

    Ben,

    Tested.. auctions that I’ve done are good. How-ever my support team is getting drilled on items no longer on the site. I’ve cut on to show finished auctions but in it’s since will show finished auctions in search results/ shop pages and in the marketplace. Seems that when a vendor posts an auction and you as winning bid get the email. The item is removed and you are not able to checkout.

    I’ll do some testing with this and submit an issue if it seems that this is related to our integration or forms.
    We’ll be working with the auctions integration plugin in the near future to get it updated.

    Found a SOLUTION! > WC settings > Simple Auctions

    You must check “Allow Buy It Now After Bidding Has Started” Use CSS to hide the button on the frontend so that user can not checkout once the bidding has started. How-ever once the auction is over it will not give you an error message. It will take you straight to the checkout screen once you click on “Pay Now”
