    Hi there,

I’ve just purchased the pro version of this and I am having a nightmare with it…. Am I doing something wrong?

I have got as far as getting the “become a vendor” on the “my account page”

After this as admin I have changed the new user I have created to vendor.

Now when I login and have the text “To add or edit products, view sales and orders for your vendor account, or to configure your store, visit your Vendor Dashboard.” It just reloads the my account page…

If I give someone access can they help or is there a support ticket system I can use?

    thanks

    Hello,
Here are a few things to look into.
First, ensure that you have your Pro Dashboard and your Free dashboard set as separate pages, with their proper shortcodes.
Secondly, you can go to wp admin > woocommerce > system status > tool and RESET WC VENDORS ROLES. See if that helps.

Also, could you please share your woocommerce system status in a reply?

    Hello,

A shop manager is not a vendor. Please read through our setup guides on the knowledge base.

    https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/wcvendors-setup-guide/
    https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/wc-vendors-pro-setup-guide/

You should have a play around with these first so that you can understand what a vendor is and what an admin is. Vendor roles and pending vendor roles are what are used for the marketplace.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    Hello,

I have logged into your site and checked what the issues are. It is that you have not followed our setup guides. You also can’t do anything because you have no vendors configured. As per our request when posting for support please ensure that you check your WooCommerce > System Status page and make sure all these are in the green. We can only help you if you are willing to help yourself.

Anna has already pointed out 2 things you need to check and I can see based on your system status page that they have not been fixed. I can also see that you are missing the pro dashboard and ratings pages which are required. I’ve fixed the dashboard page however I have left the rest of the red on the status page for you to attend to.

If in doubt, disable all the plugins except ours and woocommerce and use the store front theme for testing. This will rule out issues with our code and allow you to better find the culprit.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

Great stuff thanks for that it works a dream 🙂

I was wondering whether there was any facitlity with this plugin if I wanted people to pay to become a seller for example. If someone wants to sell an item or create and account to sell – we would charge them a flat fee to register which would give them unlimited access to list products.

Is this possible – almost like pay to become a member with the facility to sell. (Take payment too after registration?)

    thanks

and also is there away to let pending vendors know when they have been approved – rather than them keep having to check back…..

    Hello,
When admin approves a pending vendor- one method of approval will send an email, the other will not send an email notification:

1.) Email: wp-admin > users > pending vendors > hover over vendor and click Approve. Email fires.

2.) No email: wp-admin > users > edit user > change role to vendor, update. No email.

Regarding the subscription/membership option- yes this can be done using various methods/pluhins.
Here is a thread about using Paid Memberships Pro:
