    Hi Anna,

I have a question: We have $5 for the US, and $20 for international customers just incase if vendors do forget to enter their own shipping fees.

We have noticed a new customer from Israel, made a purchase but paid $5 shipping despite if you select Israel in the shipping calculation it will charge $20 not $5.

Is it possible that someone bought this item in the USA and showing US address or in Israel showing US address and our site normally charges $5 for domestic (US address) BUT after the purchase completed; he then logged in and change his shipping address to Israel, therefore our site end up with $5 shipping not $20 for international required fee. I have also attached a screenshot for you to see it.

Any thoughts will be appreciated. Is there anything we can do to stop such issue so we do not end up in dispute with vendor and customer booth?? Because our vendor says there was $20 (vendor is right) but or customer makes payment of $5 for shipping !!

    Thank you,

    Oz

I suppose there would be a possibility that the customer purchased with a US address and then used a foreign address to have as the “ship to” address.
I am not sure what we could do to prevent this, with the way shipping is calculated.
Before ti is to be shipped, the vendor will need to notify them that they need to pay for international shipment.
You also do have a setting in WooCommerce > settings > shipping > shipping options to force shipping to the billing address of the customer, so they cannot enter another shipping address.
