All true, except the phone number, if the vendor enters their phone number on their Social settings page in WC Vendors Pro. Not applicable to the free plugin, of course.

Hi Ben, Thanks for your prompt reply! Really appreciate your help. After I checked the vender’s shop page from either by customer view, vendor view, or Admin view, I have a few questions and issues:

    1. Does Vendor or Admin has the options to let vendor show their email address, phone number or address? Some shop
    2. Can Vendor add his own Terms or Privacy page or some text from their shop page?
    3. The View Shop page is not working. After click vendor’s name or click View Shop. It shows:
    404 – Page not Found
    Not Found:
Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.
    4. May we control the vendor’s listing duration and renewal setting?
    Thanks a lot!
    Andy

1.) Sure, custom code it into the templates.

    2.) Nope

3.) Try saving your Permalinks. wp-admin > Settings > Permalinks, make sure NONE of them say “Default”, scroll to bottom, click save.

4.) Sounds like a Pro feature, not for Free. 😉

    Dear Ben,
    For above questions and answers:
    1. Could you tell me the code?
    2. Does WC Vendors Pro have this feature?
    3. I tried. None of them are “Default”, but I noticed that when I either click the shop name or “view shop”, the link is: http://MySite.org/shop/yoursite.com/%5Byour_setting_here%5D/%5Bvendor_name_here%5D/MyVendor/
I don’t know where is the place that I can edit “yoursite.com/[your_setting_here]/[vendor_name_here]/”?
    4. Does WC Vendors Pro have this feature?
    Thanks!

    Hi Andy,

1.) Custom coding is $49/hr from us. It all depends on where you want the email address and phone number to be shown. If it’s in the confirmation emails, this would probably be a 2-3 hour job since we’d have to add custom fields to your Vendors Shop Settings pages, and then add them all to the email template.

2.) No, there is only one terms and conditions page, for your entire site.

3.) wp-admin > WooCommerce > WC Vendors > Pages > change the text to say “vendors” and nothing else. Only one word. No spaces, no trailing slashes, just the word “vendors”. Save it. Then go to your wp-admin > settings > permalinks, save them again, and test.

4.) Not yet, it’s a good idea for the future, though!

    Hi Ben,
Yes, it works when I edit it at the General section! Thanks! For question 4, it is important because it’s not wise to allow the vender to post their product forever. Vendor at least need do some maintain work or renew periodically. Please add it as a feature and let me know. Thanks!

Sure, we’ll consider it for a future release, perhaps in 1.3 or later.

    Ben
