Hello I’m new to the forum,

Id like to be able to customize the add product page beyond what is allowed in the admin dashboard. It is way too complicated for vendors to setup products accurately for my purposes. Id like to add custom fields, change headings, and add custom css to simplify the UI.

    WCV add product page<

How is this possible? What file do I need to edit and using what code?

    Thanks

Great, Thanks Ben! Now if I just new how to customize the WooCommerce source code. Do you know of any good links that can walk me through it? Thanks so much.

Oh boy. To learn how to customize WooCommerce source code, you should first see if there are actions and filters that would do what you need them to do. If there are, use them first.

If not, you’d have to know PHP and how Woo operates and modify the plugin.

The big problem with modifying the plugin, is each time WooCommerce updates, you’ll lose your changes and have to re-add them each time. Filters and actions would prevent this, but not everything you want has a filter or an action.

Option #1 sounds a LOT easier, if you ask me 🙂

Will the WC Vendor Pro be a one time fee off $99 or will it be reoccurring?

One time fee, not recurring at all. When your year is up, you’d simply buy it again.
