NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

    hi,

    This is not a question but just an idea on “import duty fees” that have become very strict now with china and other countries when we import products with drop shipping. in wc vendors it can be more visible under “import duty fees” on each product or on Store Shipping General section.

    We have sold two products from china to USA and Canada and both items were asked for import duty fees in the entry which is about 20% of teh total and customers were not happy with that and we refund them. Therefore somehow for foreign suppliers if they can enter their “import duty fees” on each product page and then which could show on the checkout page etc…

    You could build in a field to collect that data on the product edit.php template.

    Here is an example of adding a field to the product-edit.php template. The first part of the code would go into the template the second part into the theme/child theme functions.php:
