    Hi,

My post is the same topic related to this: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/product-title-forces-to-products-vendors-name/

I noticed that all of my products have the same title: “Products – ‘Vendor Name'”

It appears that was an item added in the last update but it causes individual product pages from having their own unique title. SEO Yoast is unable to overwrite the title either.

For example, this page should have the name of the product in the SEO title followed by the Vendor Name: https://www.cedarrapidsmarketplace.com/product/koi-acrylic-art-finger-painting/, but it just says “Products – MAD Art Parties and More!”. It does that for every product.

    Thanks for looking into this!

I did want to make an additional note that it still forces that SEO title with SEO Yoast turned on or off.

I reverted to Version 1.9.8 and the individual product SEO titles are working properly again. Perhaps the update from the 1.9.9 change log caused the issue?

    * Added: Vendor shop name to the tag on products archive page

I’d like to be able to update asap. Thanks for the great work on the plugin!

Yes- you are seeing that due to that change.
Now I am wondering if it is working as it should, though. It is designed to help with SEO. I will check into this..

    Robert, @redilson
In the meantime, if you’d like to remove the new format, you can disable that filter.
You can place this in your theme/child theme functions.php:

I added this to the child theme function.php

    remove_filter( ‘pre_get_document_title’, array( ‘WCV_Vendor_Shop’, ‘vendor_page_title’ ), 999, 1 );

but the Shop_Name still shows up in the Products Title. If i remove the title from the vendor user ID from backend, it defaults to vendor user ID.

Another observation, It seems that admin can no longer remove a shop name once it has been set. In past I could delete a shop name from the user ID of the vendor and it would stick. But it does not any more.

My site has many vendors but they are all sold under one Brand and store name.

I need to get back to the 1.9.8 version. Where can i find it ?

    remove_filter fix doesn’t work.

WcVenders somehow forcing ‘Products- Store Name’ as title on all products and shop pages.
    Please fix this asap.
