ParticipantHi There,
I am in the process of establishing a Marketplace by using PayPal Adaptive Payments. Which means that when a customer pays, the Store Owner get their commission and I get my 5% commission.
If yes, how can I integrate it ?
Thanks Shantnu
June 27, 2016 at 11:50 am #35656WC Vendors Support
ParticipantYup, PayPal Adaptive Payments gateway & commission is all built into WC Vendors Free, and of course, Pro users can use it too as they can all features and then some.

ParticipantThanks for your quick reply Ben.
Well in all probability I will go ahead with the Pro Version, however I should be trying the model today. To add on can you pl let me know:
1. Does it have the bulk products upload option ? Where in a customer can simply upload an excel/.csv and get their items online with us ?
2. Does this plugin provide specific country shipping table. For instance:
Dispatch from: UKDestination
Country No of Days Amount (£)
Spain 2-3 40
Italy 3-4 30
Outside Europe 5-7 503. I will be using this theme with BuddyBoss Social Marketplace
4. Does it support Multi Currency – Base currency would be GBP. The other currencies would be USD, EUR, DKK & NOK
5. If I install this theme, will my BuddyBoss Dashboard be replaced with WC Vendor ?
6. Major advantages that we get with the PRO version ?
Thank you !!

Seeking some further clarifications to my previous post:
1. I check on Buddy Boss Dashboard and it shows: Shipping Profiles Countryw-ise (WC Vendors PRO Dashboard):
Country, State & Shipping Fee – Add Product – Shipping Menu2. The theme and the look is totally different (prefer the one in buddyboss) will I get that theme ?
3. Can see some additional options like Upsell, etc. Will all this be available in the PRO Version ?
4. Any possibility of making the seller profile (Address, Contact Number and Email visible) ?
5. Screen Shot attached highlighting 2 points please…Thank you !!

Participant1.) No. There are third party plugins that do that, though, see wcvendors.com > kb > compatible plugins for a csv import tool. You do these as the admin though, not as the vendor, if you give vendors access to csv import get ready to have to delete a thousand products because they screwed it up. 🙂
2.) Yes. Pro’s Vendor Shipping set as Country Table Rate does this.
3.) Sweet!
4.) We support your shops currency. Any front end multi currency plugins you’d have to test and figure out. Best advice: Make your vendors enter everything in GBP, but show prices on the front end any way you want.
5.) BuddyBoss doesnt have a Dashboard, they use ours.
6.) Too many to list……….
…and then the extra questions:
1.) Ok
2.) I would imagine so if you use their theme you’d get their styling yes 😉
3.) Yes
4.) Yes, just hook them into the single product pages or wherever you want to show them.
5.) Screenshot: 1 – No. 2- Yep, that’s the shipping in Pro.

ParticipantGreat!! Pleasure dealing with you!! Just seeking clarification on one last point:
4. Test Partner: Does it support Multi Currency – Base currency would be GBP. The other currencies would be USD, EUR, DKK & NOK
4. Response BEN: We support your shops currency. Any front end multi currency plugins you’d have to test and figure out. Best advice: Make your vendors enter everything in GBP, but show prices on the front end any way you want.
Questions: We will have sellers from UK (GBP) and other Eu countries like Germany, Italy, France, etc (EUR).
In this case the base currency will differ between GBP & EUR. Do you forsee any issues with sellers from UK being different to that or Europe ? How will we manage the shipping charges etc ?thanks in advance
June 28, 2016 at 4:41 pm #35777WC Vendors Support
ParticipantIf your currency is set to GBP, all your vendors will enter their prices in GBP. Same for shipping, same for everything.

ParticipantHi Ben,
I went ahead and purchased the PRO VErsion. Inorder to implement Paypal, is it compulsory to have the Application ID ?
Is this the exact process that we need to follow ?
https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/configuring-paypal-adaptive-payments/
thanks
July 18, 2016 at 3:19 pm #37498WC Vendors Support
ParticipantWithout the adaptive payments APP ID and the approval for that ID on PayPal’s end, your gateway will not even remotely come close to working. 🙂 Yes, you need to have all the fields filled out and an approved app from PayPal.

ParticipantHi Ben,
Thank you for your quick reply. I have got conditional approval from PP, but they are giving me a hard time and suggesting me to use Parallel or Chain payments. Understanding our business model, can you recommend the best way to apply for PayPal Adaptive ?
Basically we want our customers to make one payments for the items they have bought from our sellers.
1. Either we can get the full amount from the customer and inretunr pay the store owner
or
2. The customer makes the payment and both the shop owner and the platform owner (we) get our share straight away.
or.
3. Is there something where I am going wrong ?Would appreciate if you can please reply today.
thanks
July 18, 2016 at 6:39 pm #37523WC Vendors Support
ParticipantTell them you need Parallel and Mass Pay, not Chained. Just as our KnowledgeBase article on setting up PayPal instructs.
1.) You can do this, this is manual pay (any way you see fit) or scheduled payments with paypalap (Masspay with paypalap). At checkout, admin gets 100%. Upon payment to vendors, vendors get their % manually, or at the time you schedule, whatever you like.
2.) You can do this too, this is instant payment (Parallel payments with paypalap)
To give you flexibility for #1 & #2, this is why we say parallel and mass pay. 🙂
3.) Nope! You’re doing it right!
Would appreciate if you can please reply today.
— Of course! 🙂 If we dont reply within the same day something seriously went wrong, or it’s a holiday. 🙂July 18, 2016 at 7:06 pm #37524Test Partner
ParticipantThanks Ben.. You are a star mate.. Thank you for your help.
Well I am replying to their Email now. I noticed:
1. There is no option for Mass Pay in the Application – but I am requesting them in a seperate message.
2. In Qn “Who is responsible for chargebacks or refunds” ? Is it the Marketplace who is responsible or the Vendor. As per the Parallel Payment article it looks like its the Marketplace who is responsible for chargebacks and refunds. IS that right ?
Thanks you have replied to my queries always on time 🙂

ParticipantSorry just to add on to my previous Qn: Should I tick:
July 18, 2016 at 7:15 pm #37527WC Vendors Support
ParticipantOddly, Mass Pay is simply included with Parallel. Check one, get both. Yay! Implicit Send Money is a no check. For refunds, it varies how paypal allows you to do that, check with them and go for the vendor being the refund resolver as your first choice.
July 18, 2016 at 7:22 pm #37528Test Partner
ParticipantThanks Buddy!!
The reason I ticked Implicit sent money is because in one of the posts I found the below:

ParticipantYou can check it, or not check it, it wont matter. We instruct you to check more than you’ll need in plans for future upgrades. Easier to be ready with all account features on PayPal, than to have to redo your app a year from now to add them in later. No worries either way.

ParticipantHi Ben,
couple of more questions please:
My First Qn:
1. Attached is the screen shot of our current settings on the Woo Commerce Payment Page
2. In the Screen Shot “SPLIT COMMISSION” the customer can see the amount of money that the marketplace is charging and the seller is getting. I think this is not right because the customer should actually make just one payment.
Is there any way we can get rid of this and show just one payment amount that the customer has to pay ? If we untick INSTANT PAY and chose WEEEKLY. Will all the payments go automatically to the Vendors ?
July 20, 2016 at 10:36 am #37688Test Partner
ParticipantContinuation to my previous email
July 20, 2016 at 10:40 am #37691Test Partner
ParticipantMy Second Question is:
We are getting the attached error code on top of the page. It comes sometime and sometime it doesnot. e contact BuddyBoss first, but they said its nothing to do with them and we should check each and every plugin. We noticed that when the WC Plugin is on, we get the script message.
Warning: reset() expects parameter 1 to be array, boolean given in /home/pleasuremystery/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-template.php on line 3048
Screen shot attached for your reference
Can you pl assist us ?

ParticipantCan you pl reply Ben!!
July 21, 2016 at 2:24 pm #37784WC Vendors Support
Participant1.) Ok
2.) Right, that’s PayPal. If you instantly pay vendors, customers see where the money goes. That’s a PayPal thing. If you schedule them as payments after the order has been placed, aka not instant, then customers just see one price like normal checkout.
Warning: reset() expects parameter 1 to be array, boolean given in /home/pleasuremystery/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-template.php on line 3048
That’s an error/warning from within BuddyPress, as you can see in the URL fo the file causing the issue. It would not be a WC Vendors issue, but one withing BuddyPress.
Can you pl reply Ben!!
Of course, I always reply, but all in good time. I’m not a robot. 😉
July 21, 2016 at 4:29 pm #37829Test Partner
ParticipantThanks for your response!!
1. If we untick INSTANT PAY and chose WEEKLY. Will all the payments go automatically to the Vendors to their paypal ?
2. Is there an option for the vendors to change their paypal email ID in the system ? If we how can they do so ? After creating a profile, I am unable to find the paypal address!!
July 21, 2016 at 4:37 pm #37830WC Vendors Support
Participant1.) Yup! Once a week. 🙂 (The week starts the exact time you choose weekly, so if it’s 4:38pm EST and you check it now, payments go out a week from right that minute).
2.) Ya, of course. Vendor Dashboard > Shop Settings > PayPal Email. 🙂 (In Pro, it’s Pro Dashboard > Settings > Payments > PayPal).
July 21, 2016 at 4:43 pm #37831Test Partner
ParticipantSorry I am not getting the same !!

July 21, 2016 at 5:29 pm #37836Test Partner
ParticipantHi Ben,
Pl ignore my previous email. I have now got the options. My programmer could switch on all the options including SHIPPING. Unfortunately we are not getting the SHIPPING and the CUSTOMERS MAP Tabs.
Can you pl suggest the possible reasons why its not visible ?? Its been activated from the backend from where the other tabs were activated!!
July 21, 2016 at 7:17 pm #37845WC Vendors Support
ParticipantThe “Customers Map” is for another plugin, not yet released, called WC Vendors Maps. It’s being developed on the demo server and mostly done at this point. It’s written by Philopress and will be available for purchase on wcvendors.com in the coming week. So if you’re missing that, that’s good, you shouldnt have that yet. 🙂
July 21, 2016 at 7:30 pm #37847Test Partner
ParticipantThanks Ben..
Can you pl reply regarding the shipping tab ???
We are not getting the Shipping Tab in the Vendor Dashboard and incomplete Shipping options in the Woo Comemrce – Pro Settings
Any clue why we are unable to get the shipping tab and full options ??
July 21, 2016 at 8:43 pm #37852WC Vendors Support
ParticipantMost likely you dont have shipping enabled. Check our shipping settings in wp-admin > WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Vendor Shipping > [X] Enable Vendor Shipping as a standalone method.
July 22, 2016 at 4:59 am #37876Test Partner

July 22, 2016 at 5:53 am #37877Test Partner
