NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

    I installed WC Ventors plugin. I want to do License Activation.I have tried activating it . However, the activation is not working . It is displaying as inactive.can you please help me with activation.

    @pelo,
    I was unable to login using the admin credentials you provided above.
    I can try to activate your license for you, but I’d need a valid admin login & password.
    If you would send those in a private reply, I can attempt to activate the license.

    @PELO,
    When I try to activate the license on your site, I receive a cUrl error 28 – timeout.
    The cURL error indicates your your webserver likely has a firewall, curl is disabled, something like that. This is a hosting issue- please discuss this with your host, as we cannot do anything to assist with this issue on our end.
    Please let me know what you can find out form your host.

    I have spent hours with our host – they are really trying to help me, but they give me this answer.

    What to do?

    “We cannot say why you are getting the error then, it is not because of the filter. It is a time-out error, which they should check on their end”.

    Please help me to activate license key.

    Hello,
    There is nothing we can do to fix a timeout error- that is a hosting issue. I am not trying to just pass the buck- it IS a hosting issue.
    For the rows in the product page in admin… go up to the top right : SCREEN OPTIONS
    Uncheck some of those; there are too many columns showing. If you are using Yoast, you likely do not need all of the Yoast columns showing.

    Hello,

    The issue with curl timing out is not trying to get to your website. It is your webserver trying to contact ours. Our license code communicates to our main URL: https://wcvendors.com/

    Your hosting company is testing the wrong way for curl. They need to be on your webserver and curl OUR website not yours.

    This timeout issue we have seen before have been for the following reasons:

    – cUrl is too old
    – hosting company is blocking outgoing connections for php/fast cgi
    – some other security plugin is stopping outgoing communications from the host

    I asked Weserver Support , They replied me with the following message,

    From our webserver:

    # curl -v https://wcvendors.com/
    * About to connect() to wcvendors.com port 443 (#0)
    * Trying 198.50.218.218…

    And then it just stalls – so wcvendors.com is blocking our webserver… so AGAIN, this issue is not with us..

    HI.

    we have previously had a so-called “helping hand” with the installation of WC-vendors and WC-vendors pro. She has been editing in the plugin and we just want it back to normal.
    my question is:
    Can I uninstall both plugins and re-install them again? – without paying for the pro version again
    I have detected a lot of difficulties with the installation (see thread above) can we install it this time without having the same problems this time?

    Sure. Deactivate and delete WC Vendors Pro. Then do the same with WC Vendors. Re-upload a fresh zip of WC Vendors (free). You can get that here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wc-vendors/
    Then upload a fresh zip of WC Vendors Pro. You can get the latest version here: https://www.wcvendors.com/my-account/downloads/

    If your license tells you it cannot be activated on more than one site, then let me know and I can delete your old license activation from our end so you can activate it on the new site. You can still use Pro in the meantime without the license activated.

    Thank you so much – feeling a bit lost here!

    Can you tell me why our pro version is not activated even though it looks like it on our site? are we now only working with the free multi vendor?

    2) I can’t upload pictures

    3) when I access the store, it says “UPS, page does not exist”

    4) It is super important for me that all our members have their own shop and that it is featured on their personal profile.
    AND
    I have to separate private seller (PRE-OWNED) from professional sellers (NEW SEASON and LAST SEASON) – only the professional seller pays us 10% in commission. How can I divide those two groups, so that only the prof. sellers who select the category New season and last season will automatically pay us 10% in commission? see attachemnt

    I have made some changes back-end, so maybe I don’t have to reinstall the plugins again (not a web pro myself)

    Hello,
    Ok- first off, you can have Pro activated but the license key is not activated. go to wp admin > settings > wc vendors pro license to activate the key.

    Secondly– I am not sure what is going on and what revisions have been made, but the first screenshot is showing a buddypress profile page with our dashboard within it? I think? Are you using the BP WC Vendors plugin?

    For customizing commissions- that’s up to you. We do have this article here that explains how some revisions could be made. https://www.wcvendors.com/kb/commissions-fixed-dollar-amount-fixed-plus-percentage/
    In addition, if you have some kind of membership where some vendor will pay different commissions rates- then you can go to users > vendor-name > edit and scroll down to Pro commissions and change that vendor’s commission. Default commission can be overridden on a per vendor basis.

    Hi.

    Activating the license key is showing ” HTTP Error: cURL error 28: connect() timed out! ”

    I know that my previous webber had trouble installing it – I can see that there are 7-8 support replies back and forth between you and Malar- see support above. MY HOST IS SAYING THAT IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM – I really don’t know where to go from here.

    yes, we have a BuddyPress site and that’s why our members should have an e-shop on their profile or as a minimum

    I don’t see a plugin in my dashboard called BP WC Vendors plugin? I am afraid if I uninstall everything, then I will have the same problem with Curl error and I don’t know how to place the e-shop on our members profile like the picture I sent you yesterday. As a minimum our members should be able to show their product on their profiles and neewsfeed

    This is the answer I got from my host regarding my Curl issue:

    UNOEURO uses an advanced filter system (Web Application Firewall) to prevent attacks, abuse and exploitation of vulnerabilities in our clients’ websites.
    If this filter detects what it believes is an attempt to misuse of your website, it will display a 406 error and disconnect.

    You can turn the security filter from your hosted by adding the following to your .htaccess file:

    THIS IS NOT SOMETHING THAT I CAN DO OR WILL TAKE A CHANCE ON TRYING TO FIX ON MY OWN. I NEED SOME ANSWERS TO UNDERSTAND IT BETTER:

    1) AM I ONLY USING THE FREE VERSION NOW?
    2) WHY CAN I NOT “VISIT STORE” WHEN TRYING I GET THIS MESSAGE ” UPS, SEEMS LIKE PAGE DONT EXIST
    3) I CANT UPLOAD IMAGES WHEN I TRY TO ADD A NEW PRODUCT (upload images of product front end)

    Hello,
    For the cURL error– You’ll need to discuss this further with your host to see if they can disable this just long enough to get your WC Vendors Pro license activated. Or- use Pro and update manually. You do not have to have the license activated for Pro to be used. You’ll just have to manually update. We notify of updates here, in this thread: https://www.wcvendors.com/help/topic/pro-updates/

    For the upload image issue: What browser are you using? If you are using Chrome, there is a wordpress/chrome issue at the moment with the media library. Are you seeing an error when a vendor tries to upload and image, or is the select file button just not working? Also, for testing, please turn off the BP WC Vendors plugin so we know if the pro dashboard is working properly without the BP WC Vendors plugin.

    I tried using the login credentials you gave when creating this topic– I was going to check your vendor shop pages– but the credentials do not work.

    Hello,
    The link you gave to me with /members/ is a buddypress profile page. Did you set up your buddypress pages? That has nothing to do with WC Vendors.. those are member pages for buddypress.

    If you are going to keep using the BP WC Vendors plugin I can’t help you debug- I can help you, however, work with our dashboard if you do not use that plugin. If you use that plugin and move the whole dashboard into the buddypress profile page, it changes the operations and I am not sure if that has anything to do with the image upload not working.
    Are you seeing an error when you try to upload images?

    YES. As previously mentioned, we have a BuddyPress site and we wish for all our members to have their e-shop and product for sale directly on their BP profile.

    no I did not set up the page, my former web manager did. she used BP WC vendor plugin … but this does not work with your free version, right? I know that wc vendors has nothing to do with BP, BUT by using BP WC VENDOR I should be able to integrate a BP profile with an multi vendor (e-shop for all our members?

    I bought the pro version, but not able to install it because of a fire wall at my host.

    Nothing happens when I upload a picture – I gave your username&passord for you to try uploading a picture – did you try that ? How can I solve the problem.

    When I try to visit a members shop its says Ups, page doesn’t exist. This is the URL:

    How can I solve this issue?

    Hello,
    None of the logins you have given me work.
    That link: http://fashionliberation.dk/members/trine-store/ is trying to direct me to a buddypress member page – not a store page. If you do not have your buddypress permalinks set, then this will not work, and will give you a 404.

    For images- make sure that all content on your site is secure- try the Really Simple SSL plugin.
    Also, make sure the vendors are logging in via the woocommerce my-account page.

    I do not know any more about the BP WC Vendors plugin. If you have questions about that plugin, please ask the plugin author. I know that it integrates our plugin with Buddypress- that’s all.
