    Hello,
Is there a way to limit the characters that a vendor will enter in the textarea boxes for the shop-description.php, shop-info.php?
    For instance: <textarea class=”large-text” name=”pv_shop_description” rows=”10″ id=”pv_shop_description_unhtml” style=”width:95%”><?php echo $description; ?></textarea>
I’d like to be able to limit the characters entered for the shop description to about 200 characters.
I’ve tried the maxlength=”200″ and tinkered with a jquery solution but was unable to get either to work. I’m not sure if that is because of my error or if it is due to the fact that we’re using the WYSIWYG editor/box.

Thanks in advance for any help or guidance you could provide.
