    Hi,

When I select free shipping for a product, it doesn’t say “free shipping” next to shipping title on checkout page, is there something to show also free shipping text at checkout page?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

WooCommerce changed how shipping is displayed and if the cost is $0 it doesn’t automatically say free shipping like it used to. Unless you use their free shipping module it will not display free shipping. They removed the free shipping label from WooCommerce sometime in version 2.6.

So there isn’t anything we can do about that I know of unfortunately.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

Thank you Jamie for super fast answer, so if I use their free shipping module to show “free” would it break anything with wcvendors, have you test it before? Also which plugin are we talking about?

It says only “vendor’s choice” when a product has free shipping and it looks weird :/

    Hello,

Unless you want to always provide free shipping and disable our shipping module then there isn’t anything you do. Before WooCommerce had a check ‘if the shipping is $0 then show label ‘free shipping’ but now all they do is say ‘show the shipping module name. So this removes the ‘hey this costs nothing that must mean its free’ from the cart and checkout. This is quite dumb in my opinion but the core developer gave his reasons when I questioned it but I can’t remember what they were.

Until I can work out a way to override this setting with WooCommerce, there isn’t anything we can do.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

That wouldn’t be a problem if it’s not a marketplace but yea for marketplace sites it is quite dumb. I am going to try to hide vendor’s shipping title on checkout if there is no price. Thanks.
