NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

As of August 31, 2017 (12am EST) our support forums will be retired (read-only), and we will be moving to a support ticket system.  This will allow us to better organize and answer support requests, and provide a more personalized experience as we assist our customers.

    Hi Anna,

    When a vendor enters the tracking number and submits it, then how can we (site owner) be notified for that with an email? We always have to email to each vendor to follow and ask them if they ship it or not which takes a huge amount of time back and forth. If we get an email about such vendor submit the tracing info and shipped the product then we can focus on other things. Is that possible?

    Try this in your child theme functions.php. change the name & email to the admin name & email:

    Hi Ana,

    thank you for that. I tested but as the site owner i am not getting an email when i login as a vendor and mark the shipping with a tracking number etc.

    And yes i did on Child Theme functions.php

    as a customer i get an email which is normal but per this update i am still not receiving any notification. Please check the attached screenshot to see if anything i missing?. I tried this on our staging site .xyz

    Hello,
    Ah yes that is for the “mark shipped” but not for the tracking number. So with the code I gave you above, admin should receive a notification email when an order is shipped.
    I will see if I can find a way to copy the tracking number notification to admin, though I believe this is tied to order notes rather than emails so I am not yet sure how to accomplish this.

    Hi Anna,

    thank you for your help. even for “mark shipped” as an admin i still do not get an notification when i mark shipped as a vendor in my another account that i created as a vendor.

    However customer does get a mark shipped notification.
