Hi, I have added my merchant account in woocommerce backend.
Now I need to make setup for my vendors to get paid. I am being confused at this step and don’t getting what to do?

Where do I need to set up?
    What is AdaptivePayPal?
Do I need to make 2 apps, one for sandbox and another for live?
How my vendors will get paid?

    Need to make this done.
    Please help me.

    Hi @meet

This is where it’s all up to you, and how you want to setup your site.

If you use PayPal Adaptive Payments that is included with WC Vendors, or our Stripe Gateway ( https://www.wcvendors.com/product/stripe-commissions-gateway/ ) then you can INSTANTLY pay Vendors their commission.

For Stripe, it’s really easy. Just input your stripe api keys and you’re good to go. Vendors then connect to their Stripe account on the Vendor Dashboard > Shop Settings page.

For PayPal, you have to submit your PayPal Adaptive Payments application to PayPal, they have to approve you, and then you enter in your live/sandbox keys in the gateway settings. Vendors connect to their PayPal account on the Vendor Dashboard > Shop Settings page. PayPal is a little bit annoying to get setup, because PayPal overcomplicates the process. However, browse our KnowledgeBase for screenshots of the application process, and click the link on the PayPalAP gateway settings page for more info/instructions.

Otherwise, commissions are manually paid by you, any way you wish them to be paid using your own system. Some sites send ACH/DirectDeposit, some do PayPal, some use Stripe, some mail checks, it all depends on YOU and how YOU want YOUR site to operate.

@sainttboz – Sure, just edit the templates. See the KnowledgeBase for instructions on how to do it, or search the forums, this has been answered a hundred times. 🙂

thank you ben, i tried for the better part of yesterday but really couldn’t go far…the paypal address in the shop settings keeps showing…and it prevents me from saving the vendor’s shop settings because of the ‘error’ prompt it gives ‘your paypal address is not a valid address’.
    please, help me.

Sainttboz, WHen you remove the paypal php fields, it wont error out at all. Make sure you’re editing the right template ( https://github.com/wcvendors/wcvendors/blob/master/templates/dashboard/settings/paypal-email-form.php ) and just removing the text and saving to your theme folder.
