I’m working on a marketplace using WC Vendors and am in a finalizing stage now as I’m am testing out the payment features. I am however getting some issues with it. To try it out, my brother was testing to register as a vendor today and set up an item for €1. We tested out the payment splitting between my site and the vendor. What we noticed is that it registers the split (20% to me, 80% to him) in WC Vendors (under WooCommerce > Commission), but the vendor (my brother) didn’t receive any payment.

The split also wasn’t registered in the email that he received as vendor. In the mail it says ”Commission Subtotal: €1.00”.

The Payment Schedule is set on weekly payment, but when choosing “Now”, I get this Error:
    “Error: Invalid userId
    Payment total: €1,097.40”

Is that the reason that it won’t send out the payment? Almost all of that amount is from previous testing, which are not supposed to be payed out. I’ve tried to reset the “total commission due”, but can’t figure out how.

    So my questions:
    1. Why does the payment not split properly?
    2. How do I reset the “total commission due”?

    Hello,
If the commission due shows the correct split- that’s good. This indicates that it is being calculated properly.
    A few things:
    1. The email is a bug– a known bug that should be fixed in one of the next releases. It is showing the totals for the product, and not the commission.
    2. To remove the erroneous/old commissions from part test orders:
go to: wp admin > woocommerce > commissions
Mark the old orders as: Reversed.

Now you should be able to more accurately test transactions. With these reversed, you should now be able to test the NOW payment and see if the payment is being transferred to the vendor account.

    Hi Anna,
    Thank you for your reply.

I marked the old orders as Reversed, good to see them gone. 🙂 Now it’s just the €1 order tests we did the other day, that we still need to test for payment (€3.20 to be payed in commissions). However, I still get the same error message:

    Error: Invalid userId
    Payment total: €3.20

What does “Invalid userId” refer to? Is it the PayPal that is not set up properly?

    Shima,
Could you check with paypal to ensure that you were also approved for masspay?
Mass pay is actually what is used for the NOW or Scheduled payments- though typically by having a paypal business account and then applying for PayPal adaptive payments, this was also provided to the users. However it seems that lately they are now limiting their mass pay- and not always giving this access.
Please ensure that you account used for the paypal adaptive payments is a paypal business account, and please ask them if you are able to use mass pay so you can make the scheduled and NOW payment options.
Otherwise, if they will not allow you mass pay, you will only be able to do the instant payments.
