I want to test the shop with PayPal Adaptive Payments, I opened PayPal account so I can open the sandbox developer account and opened sandbox developer account.
I got the API and paste them on the Sandbox Credentials, I checked “Enable PayPal Sandbox mode” ,
“Enable logging” and “Enable PayPal Adaptive Payments” I can see the button on the checkout page but when I click it I getting “Internal Server Error” on the top of the checkout page.
I tried to use the regular Paypal sandbox but I getting “This webpage is not available” error
On the “WC Vendors” setting, On payment tab I check the Instant pay and set the Payment schedule to Manual, I also checked “Email notification”

What is wrong with my setting?
Can this happen because I am not from the US?

You can use Adaptive Payments in any country where PayPal is accepted. (Source: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/products/adaptive-payments/ )

If you’re getting an Internal Server Error, check your websites error_log file and see what the error is. That’ll tell us what the problem is.

I used another method from here:
    https://digwp.com/2009/07/monitor-php-errors-wordpress/

    This the error I got:
[18-Oct-2015 06:41:51 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class OAuthDataStore in /home/mstudio/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wc-vendors/classes/gateways/PayPal_AdvPayments/PayPal_AP/classes/adaptivepayments-sdk/lib/auth/PPAuth.php on line 858

Try disabling all other plugins, except for WooCommerce, WC Vendors and WC Vendors Pro if you use it. Then, test again. It sounds like you have another plugin conflicting with your checkout gateway classes.

    Hi Stu,

The URL you posted that errored out, the PayPal URL, shows that they are not accepting your API keys. It sounds like either:

1.) You have PayPal configured incorrectly and the wrong API keys (somewhat common)

2.) You dont have a PayPal Adaptive Payments account (Most common)

3.) PayPal has screwed up your account setup and they’ll need to fix it (Not so common, but has certainly happened in the past)

    Cheers

    Ben

Thanks for fixing the problem with the login.

I have checked it again with theme and the plugin not active and it failed, I checked with
the default theme TwentyFifteen and it worked
I got to the PayPal page, loged in and paid and got mail with receipt, this mean that it work?
Anything else I should check to find if the test is working right?

So this mean that the problem is with the theme, what should I tell them to do so I can fix the problem?
I already wrote to them about the problem and said it something with twitter, is that good?

    Hi Stu,

It does sound like your theme sucks. How would you fix it? I dont have the slightest idea. I didnt write your theme. Every theme is different. πŸ™‚ That’s for you and the theme guy to figure out! πŸ™‚

    Cheers

Thanks, I got reply from the theme authors, they said I need to this:

    Open the file: wp-content/themes/wp_fashionzozza/framework/abstract.php
    find the line: $this->arrIncludes = array('twitteroauth','mobile_detect');
    and replace to: $this->arrIncludes = array('mobile_detect');

    Maybe it will help others

THere are 2 PayPal option at WooCom Setting. Should we use only PayPal API or both when we use WC Vendors? Also, after we set the PayPal password and signature, do we still need to set PayPal as your Knowledge base:

    Thanks!

You should use whatever one you want to use. “paypal” comes with WooCommerce. Commissions dont work with it. “paypalap” comes with WC Vendors, and commissions can be paid through it.

Thanks for your prompt response. We are following the WC Vendor instruction as below link to configure β€œpaypalap”, but it looks PayPal changed pages, so we cannot find the contents on PayPal as you described at the instruction below. Please advise where of PayPal Developer section we should go. Thanks! https://www.wcvendors.com/knowledgebase/configuring-paypal-adaptive-payments/

    Hi Andy,

I’ve updated the knowledge base article so you should be able to find the links now. In summary, click on the soap api link at the bottom of the new dashboard, login again and you’ll see all the same screens in the rest of the article linked.

    cheers,

    Jamie.

    Hi Ben,
I have the same error on checkout page (Internal Server Error), I deactivated all the plugins and I found that plugin is called “SocialFans Counter” making that problem, I checked the error log and it gives me this message :
“Cannot redeclare class OAuthDataStore in /home1/sketchu6/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wc-vendors/classes/gateways/PayPal_AdvPayments/PayPal_AP/classes/adaptivepayments-sdk/lib/auth/PPAuth.php on line 826”

    What should I do ?

@Mousa: The plugin “SocialFans Counter” is running on pages it doesnt need to run on. You can deactivate that plugin for now, and contact the theme author and tell them to only load their class files on pages it actually needs to. They are causing the conflict which is breaking your checkout because of their poor coding techniques.

    Cheers
