Hello. I have been reading through a number of threads and having trouble getting a clear answer to my questions.

I have Stripe already set up and working just fine. Can I also add PayPal so that both my vendors and customers have the option? Will they work together or do I have to use one or the other?

If there is likely hood of conflict I wouldn’t want to use both so if you could provide me some insight and any suggestions that would be great.

    Thank you.

    Yes- you can use both.
If you are planning to you PayPal adaptive payments with instant payment: If a customer pays via paypal, any vendors that have added a paypal email will receive their funds at checkout. Any vendor that does not have a paypal email entered, the funds will go to the site admin, and their commissions will show as due (wp admin > woocommerce > commissions) and you will have to pay them in some fashion their due commission.

Same in reverse– if the customer pays via Stripe/credit card by Stripe, then vendors that are connected to Stripe will receive their commission at checkout. Any that aren’t- will go to admin. Then admin will need to pay those vendors their due commission at a later time.

Thanks for the reply. Once last question. Can a vendor use both at the same time if they want to alleviate the potential issue above?

    Hello Corey,
Yes, they can use both– vendors can enter their paypal email AND also connect to Stripe in their pro dashboard > settings > payments. 🙂
