NOTICE: We've Moved to a Ticket System for Support

    I have currently PayPal Express Checkout active and I use that as main payment for PayPal
    Can I use this plugin with that option and not use PayPal Adaptive Payments as payment option?

    If I’m right I won’t be able to use this
    *Instantly pay vendors their commission when an order is made

    But will be commission payed if I use some other option

    monthly
    manual etc..

    Hi,

    If you want to instantly pay vendors commissions, PayPal Express will not work. You must use PayPal Adaptive Payments, or the Stripe Connect gateway that we sell.

    Yeah as assumed but will other commission options work, I set up Adaptive Payment Account, but I used Express Checkout option ( sandbox) and after that I went on Payments->pay commission Now and it I got msg that is payed and I got email also, but I can’t check did vendor (test) receive that commission cause I have no idea how to check it.

    Oh, I see. You want to use PayPal Express to take the money. And then you want to schedule payments to your vendors and pay them with Adaptive Payments. I’m not actually sure if that will work or not, it’s something we’ve never tested. You should try it on a development environment with your sandbox keys for Express and Adaptive Payments and see if it works. Please let me know, I’m quite curious if this will work or not too. 🙂

    Just tested it

    It’s working I used my sandbox personal account as Vendors PayPal email
    Bought product with PayPal Express Checkout option ( other options are deactivated)
    Then I tested commission payment option Now and I got this:

    Then I checked sandbox account and commission is proceeded

    So to make it short you can set up Adaptive Payment but use PayPal Express Checkout it will work with any other option but not with Instant Pay.
