Hi,
I bought your plugin today but can’t get it to work when running in the test mode.
I get the following error message:PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method WC_Gateway_Stripe_Connect_Subscriptions::stripe_request() in …/plugins/wc-vendors-gateway-stripe-connect/classes/class-wc-gateway-stripe-subscriptions.php on line 194
What could be wrong?

Hi Mika,
That’s a known bug we should have fixed tonight/tomorrow. We patched up a bit in Stripe so that it does not clash with social login plugins that are poorly coded, and this is the last fix for us to check out (the subscriptions part of it). Another member reported this bug to us a few days ago and Jamie just has to sit down and get it resolved. Once that’s done, we’ll be pushing a new version of Stripe to the servers that should resolve it for you.

And also, maybe wrong part of the forum, but when we are talking about Subscriptions: When you release the variants for the frontend of the Pro Vendor Dashboard, will it include subscription variants (and simple subscription) ?

Managed accounts we have no intention to support now or in the future.
Subscriptions would need to be integrated to Pro by you or anyone else. It would require the add/edit product form be templated out to correctly save and request the right values for the product type.

Mikael@rano864 — Yes, we have fixed that, and will be part of the next Stripe update once we also fix the Subscriptions code errors.
@mikaelfs – Please only set private replies when there’s private information such as logins/passwords and such. The integration on the front end isn’t part of the Stripe gateway, we’re fixing the functionality so that you can actually charge subscriptions with Stripe. The integration for Pro front end subscriptions would be done by modifying the add/edit product form and adding all the necessary meta keys and values and form fields for Subscription products. We might be able to handle that as a custom job, it’d be more Jamie than me since Subscriptions are much more complex than I can handle. It’d probably be around a $400-$500 task.Hi,

MikaelJamie is still in the process of moving, but he’s working on it as much as he can. The issue with it is that the original Stripe gateway was from Matt Gates and apparently he didn’t even add in half of the required subscription code, but did complete the regular non-subscription gateway code. It took 6 months before anyone who purchased Stripe to even use it for subscriptions, so perhaps the lack of popularity for it is why he didnt add it to the code base to begin with. Weird. But anyway, Jamie is working on it. 🙂 It’s just a lot more than a “typo” fix like most bugs tend to be.

I have bought your plugin but still getting this error. Did this ever get resolved? This is what our error log says:
The “error_log” file generated the following entry, each time we tried to place the order – “Call to undefined method WC_Gateway_Stripe_Connect_Subscriptions::stripe_request()” . Basically, in the plugin class WC_Gateway_Stripe_Connect_Subscriptions, the method stripe_request() does not exist.
Please could you update me on this as soon as possible?

I only have subscription products but I disabled the Woocommerce subscriptions and added a simple product to test and yes it went through ok. However, I don’t sell normal products and really need this working with Woocommerce subscriptions. What are the possibilities of this?

AndyThe chances of it working are slim to none. The subscriptions code in Stripe needs re-coding. It’s in there, yes, but it’s not sold as a subscription compatible gateway. It doesnt support subscription based products at all.
Is there any gateway that will work with Vendors and Subscriptions as I’m not bolted to Stripe. Would the right direction to go down be PayPal Adaptive payments?

That’s a good question. Our PayPal Adaptive Payments, and our Stripe, are the only two gateways that have the ability to instantly pay vendors their commissions. You can use ANY WooCommerce gateway, but only ours for the instant vendor payments. I’m not sure how PayPal Adaptive Payments would work with subscriptions. It’s free, though, so if you feel like giving it a try let us know! 🙂
