    Hi

We have just started to test the wc vendors on our test enviroment to see if this is for us, our site sells alot of products and are looking to give some people in other part of the country selling rights on our store and we make a commission on this so that is where vendors comes into play.

After adding your plugin and giving a test user the Vendor Role and also added some procuts to this vendor we have noticed that when a normal customer browse’s the site and goes to theses specific products on the main shop page it says Sold by Light Elegance Uk but when you view the product it says Sold By Pauls Nail Shop, so our questions is can a user pick which store they would like to buy from if you both are sharing all of the same products.

Also when a user logs in is there a way you can have a new link on the navigation they can click to view their dashboard so they can see orders and their comission, we did notice it gave the user access to the dashboard but then you have to do alot to stop them from accessing other admin sections and your main store total orders in reports etc..

    we hope this makes sense.

    regards
    craig

also if by accident a customer orders from your site instead of the vendors link it will cause some issues with your vendors, is there a way to attach customers to a vendor ?

    Hello Craig,

can a user pick which store they would like to buy from if you both are sharing all of the same products.

A product can only be assigned to one vendor at a time.

you have to do alot to stop them from accessing other admin sections and your main store total orders in reports etc..

They should only have access to the reports relevant to their own shop, not to the entire site.. but these can be removed with a plugin such as this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/adminimize/
Also, with WC Vendors Pro, your vendors access everything on the front-end, and can be blocked completely form the admin. https://www.wcvendors.com/product/wc-vendors-pro/

also if by accident a customer orders from your site instead of the vendors link it will cause some issues with your vendors, is there a way to attach customers to a vendor ?

I’m sorry, but I do not understand this question… what do you mean “the vendor’s link”?
